My Perfect Sunday

I woke up Sunday morning emotionally exhausted and a bit hungover because of the embarrassing display of effort I witnessed from the Ryan Day-led Ohio State Buckeyes. Quickly, I had to do my best to move on because my favorite team in all of sports, the Pittsburgh Steelers, was set to go to battle with the Cincinnati Bengals, a team trying their best to keep their season alive.

This matchup has been a little special since meeting known troll Ben Schramm and his butt buddy Drew Garrison. Ben likes to poke his head out whenever OSU-Michigan takes place and hops on Drew like a pogo stick, attempting to be his knight in shining armor. I woke up to shit-talking DM's from both to start the day.

Even though I was recovering from the day prior, I was ready to go to war because these assholes do nothing but add fuel to the fire.

I won't dwell on the Steelers beating a BAD Bengals team, I just hope these two douchebags learned their lesson because next time we go head to head I'll be boots on the ground in Acrisure to witness Russy cook that sorry-ass secondary again. The Steelers had to beat the refs and the kitty cats after spotting them 7 points and made it look easy. #HereWeGo

After watching the Steelers get to 9-3 on the season I had to rush home and prepare for the annual champagne tasting one of our restaurants has. Working in the service industry is non-stop at the management level because there's always something that needs fixed, ordered, or worked on, so when we all get a chance to do something together, it's always a treat.

Before headed downtown, I placed a hundred bucks on the Eagles money line in hopes that the stars were aligning on this magnificent day, and that the Steelers could get some breathing room from some bird-on-bird crime. I was grinning ear-to-ear, sipping champagne, eating Lamb & Tenderloin, and watching my Draft Kings account grow.

Georgios Cafe International's 38th annual Champagne Tasting did not disappoint. Just look at this spread.

Every dish was pristine but my favorite one had to be the lobster stuffed lemon sole with the lamb and tenderloin coming in a close second.

Steelers win, Ravens lose, and I get to wine and dine with a great group of friends. Who's got it better than us?

Post-tasting we headed to a karaoke bar and I held a personal concert to bring in Marios birthday before retiring home and snuggling my pups.
