The Barstool Combine A Redemption Story

Another draft season is officially upon us, which means combine! As the next wave of stars look to showcase why they deserve to be top picks this spring, Barstool employees have the chance to prove they still have some athleticism left & that the pathetic Titans narrative is nothing but rumors. The stars are aligning for a big day as Big Cat looks to seal another victory to put into the stool history books, while others like Ohio's Tate prepare for a redemption story made for the big screen.

Last year the group showed us their speed, strength, & agility with an assortment of drills. We expect the same, but now all are chasing to take down the boss man in Big Cat after he survived an early stumble in the 40-yard dash to dust the field on his way to victory. Many are calling upon the KBs, Dana Beers, Katics, & many others to dethrone the champion. But all of this may be the side story of the year, as today is more about redemption.

Ohio's Tate, one of the stool's hardest workers, fell extremely short in one of the drills last year, causing a stir that sent waves through the internet. While others put up 20, 30, even close to 40 reps in the bench category, Tate fell well just short of those numbers. This disappointment has led to much speculation on whether he will be forgoing the benching this year. Early oddsmakers set the O/U at 0.5. But what the public & Vegas don’t account for is pure grit & determination & it's sheer power.

We are in a time of great achievements. Just this last weekend we saw another team that was doubted, beaten, looked to be reaching for an impossible goal, yet they found their moment after 46 years of fighting for it. Who is too say now one year later Tate isn't full of the fire left from the internet? to me Tate looks charged & ready to achieve that similar breakthrough today.

While many may doubt, shy away in disbelief...not Tate, not us stoolies. Everyone loves a redemption story & that is what we have here before us today at the Barstool Combine. Tune in for history to be made after the Yak.
