new blogger on the block

good morning sunshines. my name is caroline and i am very excited to be the newest blog bitch. My handles are shutup_caroline because frankly I talk too much so I’m glad to have platform where I can put that skill to good use.

A little bit about me before I get into why I love barstool. I am Illinois born and raised making me a diehard Bears and Illini fan. “oh she’s a bears fan, yikes” Yeah, yeah, I know, poor me, but I was born into this and I will die with them.

I graduated from the University of Illinois in 2021 right when they were starting to actually do well at sports, so these past few years of Illini football and basketball has made my sports fandom life a little bit better.

I was a history education major and former teacher so don't be surprised if a lot of my blogs have to do with fun facts or deep diving interesting history topics. IF you follow me on twitter, you already know my love for facts, as I tweet multiple a day.

Now to get to why i'm here blogging for barstool breakdown. I started my barstool journey in high school like pretty much anyone does, by following the main account and dave, then getting sucked in to the rest of the barstool universe. I am a nosey girl so whenever the main account would post about drama, obviously i'm deep diving and putting my fbi skills to work to find out as much as i can. I then slowly started following different personalities and shows. One thing about me is that I am a smoker (mostly weed but also nicotine) and a girls girl, so when Barstool started Because We Got High with Ria, Kelly, and Chickenfry, I really got into anything and everything Barstool related. I started slow, with CITO, PlanBri, and BFFs, and fell in love with Dave and this content even more. Now years later, I consider myself a huge stoolie pretty much consuming barstool anything (dozen, anus, son of a boy dad, drop a pin, peakin, etc etc) in my free time. My favorite show that I could literally watch all day everyday (and I will by watching and rewatching old episodes) is The Yak, I am a proud Lady Yakker #10x Kate has become literally my favorite person at Barstool and I honestly believe she can do no wrong and is fucking hilarious.
