Life's Short, Buy the Tickets

Barstool at the Ballpark was one of the best days I've had in a while.

From meeting online friends, to meeting Barstool personalities for the first time - and everything in-between, a spontaneous day at Citi Field was the perfect way to spend a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

When I woke up on Saturday morning, my first thought was what the heck am I gonna do today? It was primed to be a beautiful afternoon and I knew I had to be outside and lucky for me I stumbled upon the Barstool at the Ballpark post on Twitter - unlucky for me, the event was sold out. But hey, I'm not gonna pass up a chance to go see the Mets play and meet some Barstool personalities.

So thanks to GameTime (proud sponsor of Barstool Sports), I got into the ballpark for $5 - and even luckier for me, Clem was nice enough to comp me a ticket to the section where the boys were sitting in.

Just an absolutely phenomenal start to the game.

Followed up by Pete Alonso's 250th career home run in the bottom half of the first, and the rest of the key players finally showing up in the batters box, the Mets kicked the ever living SHIT out of the Giants.

Although according the media booth at Citi Field the Mets played the Blue Jays that day.

Yes, this was really the scoreboard at the end of the game on Saturday.

They say "never meet your heroes", but I'm glad that I can personally now say that it's a load of crap, especially when it came to Clem, Klemmer and Meek.

All class from start to finish with this crew, just an all-time fun hang with the Gotta Believe pod boys (minus KFC) that just love talkin ball and being around stoolies alike. 10/10 would do it again.
