Barstool After Dark Update: When it Rains it Pours

The near-impossible became just that due to the weather gods early this morning for Ohio’s Tate and the boys. Those Midwest summer storms are no joke, as it quickly went from rain to thunder to lightning...finally stopping the stream before the record could be achieved.

A stream that looked to be in for the long haul from the jump started to gain momentum with some close calls and lots of on-the-green putts. From a journalistic standpoint, though, I did feel the frustration of everyone saying "just use a wedge," as that would have taken away the whole concept of it being, well, a putt. Even with the distance feeling untamable, the group, led by Oldie’s positive and comical input, was ready to stick this one out until they hit the unstoppable force of Mother Nature.

Now, Tate is already on top of the “cop-out” crowd, as he made sure to let everyone know a makeup stream will happen. Now, that is where things get complicated, in my opinion, as it seems to be needed before football season, because there’s a high percentage chance a Saturday of football will be missed by a stream still rolling along. We all know Tate is a man of content first, so don’t worry, we will get the putt stream in full in the near future.
