Barstool After Dark: Putting Fore Records

WE ARE BACK! Barstool After Dark is returning this week, & we are world record hunting! Ohio's Tate is getting the old flat stick back out to roll one longer than it ever has been before. Oh, & he has assembled quite the crew to join in on the fun, this is going to be can't-miss stream content!

Okay, so as Tate said, they are going for the putting record this week, something they are prepared to take down. He has brought in a ragtag bunch of Oldie, Doitche, & Nicky Smokes to help him break yet another... yes, I said another world record. I mean, After Dark may be close to holding another world record for most records broken on a stream at this point. Either way, they are ready to take this one down however long it may take, with provisions at the ready for the crew, from the putters themselves. Get ready to leave that YouTube up all night!

Now let's talk logistics. It's time to bring in the numbers game here for some, let's say, context. On the PGA Tour (the best in the world), they measure by feet when talking putts. Tate & his team are looking to hit a 467ft putt. According to PGA Golf Link Stat Data this year on the tour of the greatest in the world, the longest made putt is 90ft by Bronson Burgoon. Also, the average length made by the pros is a mere 9ft 7 inches. To give even more context to their challenge ahead, Rory McIlroy over the course of 18 holes only makes 66ft total in putts. That is a current Grand Slam champion & defending Masters winner, if you aren't a golf person. Soooooooooooo our boys may be living on a golf course for the rest of let's say.... time.

Of course, it wouldn't be an After Dark preview without some odds, including the age-old Spectate allegations hitting the betting realm on whether he will hit the record-breaking putt or not. No matter who it might be, this one will not be easy & all of the guys will be feeling the effects, as the odds are VERY high we have a marathon stream on our hands.
