Barstool After Dark: Pros vs Joes Stream Awards

What a stream it was the perfect setup for March Madness this week. The Pros flexed their muscles time and time again, leaving the Joes feeling nothing but rushed and powerless. Whether it was missed layups, turnovers, or defensive miscommunication, the Joes had it all. So, who takes the awards home from a stream that held the eyes of over 35k!
MVP: Tom Welch (Loyola Chicago) & Tyler Hansbrough (North Carolina)
Time and time again, when the Joes had a slight advantage or felt a sense of momentum, Welch and Hansbrough were there with a dagger play. In one of the biggest moments, with a 15-on-5 advantage, the Joes thought they had victory, but to their shock, it was "win by 2." Before they could blink, Welch chucked it full-court to a wide-open Edert to swing it all back to the Pros. It’s a moment that will certainly haunt them for years to come.
Mike Katic Hustle Award: Big T
Yes, we named the award after Katic, but it’s Big T who finds himself stealing it away from Mike. Big T just found a way to impact the paint on both ends of the court; he was a rebounding machine, refusing to back down from All-Americans and National Champions.
Shit Talker of the Night: Jason Williams (Florida)
I mean, who else? For those who somehow missed the exchange of the night: the two Gators found themselves in a war of words, but it was a short war, as Williams took poor Nicky Smokes to the shed quite quickly.
Foul of the Night: Mintzy
Was it ever going to be anyone else? Mintzy almost killed the Wisconsin alum, an ambulance was nearly needed on-site. Luckily, all was okay, and Mintzy got to play with his new Ole Miss buddy, Marshall Henderson. Yet another win for the company’s hardest worker.
Most Missed Wide-Open Shots: Rico Bosco
Now, we have to put an asterisk next to this one, as it just wasn’t the day to play ball for Rico. You could tell his mind was elsewhere as he missed point-blank shot after point-blank shot. Will he recover? We know he will. It’s why we Ryde.
Shot of the Night: Ohio Tate
Though it came so early in the night, that doesn't diminish it one bit. Ohio Tate found the sweet spot right over the outstretched hands of All-American, National Champion, and NBA veteran Tyler Hansbrough. Congratulations, this may be a bigger moment than his proposal. Who’s to say?
Yet again, the Pros flexed their muscles. Finally, with a 15v2 advantage, they found themselves victorious. Was this a proud accomplishment? Many will say no. Was this stream one-of-a-kind and an incredible watch? YES! No doubt. If you somehow missed this live, get on YouTube ASAP and watch it all back. Trust me.
