A Tale of Two Reporters

The Barstool Sports Field Reporters were in action yet again this past weekend as Ohio’s Tate & Danny Conrad took on their newest assignments across the Midwest. Though it has been quite the contrast, indeed, for the two. Showing the duality of Barstool content creators in unedited...well "Mintz unedited" fashion.

First up, we have Ohio’s Tate, the veteran who has tackled some of Barstool’s tallest tasks, including multiple weekends with Ben Mintz, a Final Four pump party with Rico Bosco, & Barstool Spring Break with the likes of Nicky Smokes. All of that earned him his newest assignment: trailing NBA legend Jason Williams as he cheers on his daughter in the College World Series.

Instead of searching for Ubers, carrying luggage, & potentially sharing toothbrushes, he is going to epic sporting events, getting chauffeured around, going on fancy dinner dates, & watching down-to-the-wire golf tourneys. Oh, and all without drunken fights, situationships, or stained window sills. A man who in 2026 has given stoolies the insider look into the daily lives of our content loves & hates now gives us the live-action, everyday life of an NBA legend. Not only do we get to feel more connected to one of Barstool's more recent hires, but Tate finally gets a well-deserved, more enjoyable...and much less dangerous assignment.

Then we have Danny Conrad in Cleveland for the Ben Mintz birthday bash! The stark contrast begins as we go from room-service pepperoni rolls to lost hotel keys. Under the guidance of Dante the Don, the crew of Katic, Ella, Dante, & Mintz were off to Ohio for a full-on Mintz weekend. Little did Conrad know, this might be the weekend that gives him night terrors for years to come. Of course, the Comrades are ready for action at any moment if needed.

Now, Conrad is no rookie either, as he has years of experience with White Sox Dave & recently has been in the field with Dante the Don. But again, that may have just felt like a warm-up compared to a weekend of Mintzy, not to mention what can & cannot be included in his adventures.

From missed Ubers to wrong hotels to lost hotel keys, it was a night in hell for our ace reporter. All of it seemed to come together...or, well, apart, however you want to look at it, after Mintz seemed to pour out some pent-up emotion towards Danny. Was this true dissent or content exhaustion? One may never know, but it of course did numbies either way. As many stoolies are in a similar boat whith the one & only Ben Mintz is it love, its it hate? who truly knows but we sure do click, like a scary movie we just crave the jump scare.

If Dave Portnoy is up for it, the time may be now to hand out Barstool's own Pulitzer Prize, as Ohio’s Tate & Danny Conrad continue to put their lives on the line in the name of content in the wild. Dave knows all too well the characters he hires, & now, to have them trying to document them constantly in their own elements is no easy ask.
