Week 9: Sunday Funday Parlay & Cool Bets

Alright, let's get it out of the way... last week was a BOMB! I know, hand up to take accountability, I gave out complete stinkers, and it was my first red NFL Sunday of the year. What makes it worse? After a heartbreaker with the Funday Parlay the previous week, to then never seei it get off the ground this past week. DISGUSTING!
Even the Cool Bets, which entered last week at +6.3 units, threw up a donut. It was an all-around beatdown. But now we look at Week 9 as a new day, times changed (literally, with Daylight Savings Time), and new bets have entered the building. As always, let’s kick off with the Cool Bets first.
Justin Jefferson ATTD +165
The young JJ McCarthy re-enters as his QB, which means expect lots more targets. You then throw in the fact that they’re going up against the Lions?? UHHH yeaaaa they’ll be slinging it around as they may be trying to come from behind all game. This scenario sets up perfectly for a Jefferson TD!
Bo Nix 230+ passing yards +170
The Bo Nix show heads to Houston this Sunday, and his arm will be needed. What could be a tight game late, Bo should be throwing it throughout in a back-and-forth affair. He’s gone over 230 in two straight, so his confidence is riding high! So we ride the Bronco as well!
Josh Allen 2 ATTD +600
Okay, yes, this is a MAJOR stretch bet, especially with James Cook running wild last week. BUT! It’s the game of the week against the Chiefs. Josh may need to do a little himself with their stout defense keying in to stop Cook. Also how can you not bet Josh Allen?
Now we move to the Sunday Funday Parlay. For those just joining in, it has become strictly a 3-play parlay, with all QB passing yard picks. It’s been oh so close many times, and it’s also hit. As always, I recommend straight-betting all three as well to cover in case we fall by one leg.
We will also miss the “Spencer Sweat,” as Rattler has been officially benched, a Sunday mainstay now gone forever, potentially. Anyways, we still move on... let’s take a look at what came out of the lab for Week 9.

We’re starting this one off with one of the most confusing QBs in the league... Caleb Williams. He’s going up against the Bengals, who will score it, but also get TORCHED! So with that being said, 240+ passing yards may feel high, but we need to believe in the Cincy shit D. Also, De’Andre Swift is out. (Sprinkle Rome Odunze ATTD.)
Next, we have a young QB returning to an offense that got embarrassed last week, Michael Penix Jr. Out of him, we’re looking for 220+, which just feels right. They’re going up against a red-hot Patriots team, so the assumption has to be that he’ll need to sling it some in the second half.
Lastly, we’re rolling with Jaxson Dart to get 200+. They’re going up against the 49ers at home. They also may not feel too confident in the running game with Cam Skattebo out now. Putting together the possibility of playing from behind and lacking faith in the run game, you have to feel good about 200 through the air.
Well, there ya go, all I can do is lay it out there for the people. It’s in your court to bet it or not. We just have to wonder if this is the week we finally win every bet. A lil confidence boost neeed? Let’s not forget Big Cat, who notoriously says he’s one of the worst bettors, once won 16 in a row. So why not us next?
Let’s have a freakin’ Sunday!
