As we reach many of the teams' final matches, time is running out for the bubble squads. Last week we may have seen the final dagger dropped on the Po'Boyz as the Markettes made quick work of them in the blowout. We are continuing to see the playoff picture come together & the Final Four in Chicago is shaping up to be an all-time great finish. But before we get too ahead of ourselves, the jockeying for playoff positions continues.
Tuesday Night
While the Ice People are all but eliminated, this match has some extra juice with the release of the news that Barstool "Green" Greg is making his first full-time appearance in place of Elio. On the other side, Chicago is in a near no-win situation here as they are expected to win by a wide margin; if they don't, this could mightily hurt their playoff rankings. Will Barstool Greg derail the Chicago playoff run?
Keys
Phone Magic: Can Barstool Greg find his Phone-a-Friend magic in the full-time match play?
Cheah Hive: Which Steven Cheah does Chicago get? His point total dictates wins/losses.
ROOK: Does a Hogdale legacy game mean Rookie of the Year?

Prediction: Chicago 14, Ice People 10
Thursday Night
The sneaky matchup of the week, as the now quietly reeling Booze Ponies are suddenly in need of a win. Their tough schedule will keep them from the play-in range of seeding, but another loss here could drop them to the 7-seed. Last year's runner-up is in trouble of a letdown season. As for the Ryders, this is the moment they have wanted for a while: a big win to show they are a true competitor for the Final Four or beyond. Keegs will need more from Rico & KFC, though, if they want to take down one of the big dogs.
Keys
RICO FOOTBALL: Can Rico hold down college sports? Dana & Willy C are very sharp in both, so if he misses, this could be a swing that they won't recover from.
KFC POINTS: Does KFC bring those "extra points" to help Keegs, who will need to score 10+?
Dana Money: Can Dana Beers get back into his sharp mind with NBA & College Basketball?

Prediction: Booze Ponies 15, Ryders 12
Sunday Night Showdown
A matchup on paper that feels very lopsided has major implications for both teams, as the Red Team needs just one win in their final two matches to seal the 10th & final spot in the play-in tournament. Meanwhile, the Experts are one win away from clinching a spot in the Regular Season Championship. Of course, again, this feels like another Experts runaway, but it will be interesting to see if Brandon Walker finds out that a Red Team win eliminates Ben Mintz from playoff contention.
Keys
EXPERTS JOKES: Do the Experts step on the throat from the jump or play around too much?
Dante the DON: Can Dante hold his ground in pop culture vs. the giant, Fran?
College Wizards: Who takes College Sports? Both teams are very strong in the category.

Prediction: Experts 19, Red Team 8
Though the Red Team needs this win, it just is not in the cards this week. This will put them in a must-win scenario for their final match. As for the Experts, the run for the repeat will go through the Regular Season Championship in a few weeks. With the races clearing up, you can't help but get excited for June to be here & the Final Four matches live!
