Week 0: CFB Parlay Play, Ft. Ohio's Tate

College Football is upon us! Week Zero is here & it is lined up to be one of the best we have seen, which is poetic considering it may be the last we ever have! With kickoff around the corner, I'm sure just like me you are pulling out the DraftKings app to see what we have on the board. Well, no worries, I'm here to make life easier, with a little help from our Barstool friends. Welcome to the 2026 Barstool Breakdown's College Football Parlay of the Week!

So for this year, instead of throwing out many plays (though let's be honest, some weeks I still might find the yummy plays), I have decided to move to a simple play. Now, this doesn't mean we are perfect, let's not forget that! The parlay each week will consist of my own play & someone from Barstool. This week, it's a friend of the blog, Ohio's Tate, & who knows, if this hits, we may ride this out till we lose. But for now, the plan is to ask someone new each week! Just another way to enjoy our Saturdays of football by riding with your favorites at Barstool. And with only two plays, we are keeping it simple & to the point.

So to lead off the college football season.... drum roll, please!!! Tate is going with... USC -38.5! Ohh yes, I said that correctly, we are looking for a 39-spot! Now remember, this guy knows ball, as he was recently ranked 6th in the Barstool Sports Top 25 College Football Personalities!

It's hard to argue with this logic. I think this is also a great Week Zero setup, but there needs to be a blowout, so why not this game!

Okay, now I'm up. I have looked around & found a juicy pick. We have a DC out for one team & a couple of dual-threat QBs. I think that isn't just Guinness flowing in Dublin tomorrow, that is some POINTS going down with those PINTS! Over 46.5, hold the conversion rate.

Jayden Craig & Billy Edwards Jr. are coming into this one with a chip on their shoulders to prove they are P4 QBs. You then tie in some good running backs on both teams as well, and you have yourself some balance & defenses on their heels from the jump.

With that, we have our Week Zero play! Let's get this season off to a hot start at 1-0. Huge shoutout to Tate for being the first in the series. It's tough to be the first one out of the gate, but he had no hesitation with the pick, & that has me confident in our play! At +270, let's get over to DraftKings to lock it in & be ready for kickoff!
