THE START OF REED'S REBELLION AND THE BREAKDOWN BLOG BOYS

Good evening everyone. As some of you may know my name is Reed Jones. I am a die hard Stoolie who 25 days ago started a "100 Days, 100 Blogs" challenge. Just like everyone that's a part of this blog, the ultimate goal for me is to join the "Pirate Ship" that is Barstool Sports. I truly don't care what capacity or job I would do there, I just want a chance. I'm 23 years old and this has been a dream job of mine since I was 16 years old. So let me get into how exactly I met the Breakdown Boys, Derik, and Big Twan.

After being a longtime Stoolie whether it be listening to just about every podcast I can get my hands on or watching every video, one day I came upon a tweet from Feits complaining about Mintzy and requesting a meme using him and the grim reaper. This came less than a month after Mintzy spoiled "Surviving Barstool" and off the heels of the absolute fucking insane attempted Dozen trade. The trade that is so fucking crazy? 3x league MVP and reigning champ, Kirk Minihane, going to Smockin' for...Benjamin Mintz. Now Mintzy is not dumb at all in the Dozen but Smockin' is a solid team outside of him themselves with Kenjac and Mark Titus. This would be like trading Nikola Jokic to the OKC Thunder for Lu Dort. Not a bad player to get but an MVP player for a decent role player? Insane. So after seeing that tweet I had to get something cooking and made this:

Little did I know this tweet would be featured on "Wake Up Mintzy" and "The Yak" but it also put me into a group chat made up of Stoolies that all had insane connections with Barstool. Legendary Stoolie Cliff DeMartino is in there, the amazing meme and song creator FSU Brando, the biggest VIVA advocated himself Fasoli, Funniest Travis winner (who isn't even named Travis) Big Twan, and Stoolie Clubhouse/Nealy Boy as well. But it introduced me to the Breakdown Boys. Johnathon Sandos and Frankie Buca. They have an amazing show where they interview Barstool employees at all levels whether it's content, producers, and more. It's extremely commendable that these two fans made a platform where they get to talk with people a lot of us have para-social relationships with and have formed real relationships with them. Hell I even drove to Wheeling, West (by God) Virginia just to meet a ton of them and cheer on my boy Sandos in Rough N' Rowdy.

Since then, Derik from the Chat joined the groupchat. He's a next level Ryder and invented the "Rally Rip". He was even on "House Call" with Jersey Jerry and Rico Bosco.

Now, I've talked with most of these guys everyday as they've given a (somewhat) young guy like me some amazing life advice. It's crazy that from that day I've become a regular caller on "Mook Can't Sleep" and formed a somewhat relationship with Mook and Miresh, gotten a ton of love and advice for my "100 Days, 100 Blogs" challenge from Ohio's Tate, and talked a few time with Jake Malasek and MikeyBets. This by no means comes even close to the other 4 B.B.B.B's (Barstool Breakdown Blog Boys) accomplishments and relationships they have. But for me? I'll consider that a win. Jealousy is the thief of joy after all. So yeah, here I am. Just a little rundown of who I am for all of you unfamiliar with me. But what's the best comparison for the B.B.B.B's?

KEVIN DURANT - DERIK FROM THE CHAT

The newest acquisition and the newest to the chat. Commanders fan. Uses the devil's lettuce. Not scared to go to war on Twitter.

DRAYMOND GREEN - BIG TWAN

The bodyguard and bully (hours) of the group. The hothead who is also funny as shit in his own way and is an unsung hero. (Why isn't Twan in Chicago already?)

ANDRE IGUODALA - REED JONES

Least amount of star power. Glue guy. Ceiling raiser not a floor raiser.

I can't wait to see what me and the boys cook up going forward from here. We're all idea guys with our own different and similar interests. Content should be coming strong and plentiful. You've heard of Rico's Ryders, Tank's Army, and more. Today marks the start of REED'S REBELLION! VIVA!!!
