Surviving Barstool Odds/Predictions Pre-Show

An Obligatory hello to all my fellow Stoolies who will be reading this as this is my first blog on the Barstool Breakdown site. First off want to thank Sands, Frankie, Coach Day, and the rest of the breakdown boys (and girl) for letting me contribute to what already is a great site, and I hope to bring a fun spin on both Barstool news and news in the sporting world. Now with the pleasantries out of the way let's get down to business.

Surviving Barstool is back! With a mixed crew of both past players (and Winner Tommy Smokes) as well as a slew of newcomers to the program.

I for one am ecstatic with the casting and think Jeff D, Lowe did a great job. Now this isn't quite as a star studded cast as the last time Surviving was filmed but what it lacks in bonafide talent it sure makes up for with rising stars.

Now with filming set to take place in the next week or so, let's Break down the contestants!

Favorites

Tommy Smokes

Thomas Schibelli, Tommy Two Blondes, East Coast Merchant... AMERICA'S SWEETHEART, Tommy Smokes is back at it in another Barstool game show and is ready to make his run at being the first repeat winner of Surviving Barstool. Tommy knows the game better than anyone, I've already mentioned he's a past winner but he's also probably the biggest Survivor fan at the entire company, earning himself a date with the presence of Jeff Probst himself! Tommy is competitive, well liked, and smart which puts him at the top of my rankings and what I'll set the odds at +350 to take home the W.

Ohio's Tate

Tate, while being new to this competition, is no stranger to any of the elements that go into it. Tate may be the best player in the field, as far as the mental side goes. His experience with his own show Barstool After Dark, should bode well for him in being prepared for the sure fire twists and turns Surviving creates. Setting the line here at +450.

Rone

Much like Tate, Rone has the mindset to win it all this year and has proved it in the past he's not afraid to make some enemies in the name of competition. There may not be a more savvy player in this field and if it weren't for the fact that the rest of the cast knows that fact Rone may be my #1 pick. But for that reason that lands him 3rd on my power ranking and earns him a +600 in the odds.

Fiets & Nick

Two very similar and yet again very likable players, Both of these two will play the social game very well but are held back by Athleticism in Nick's case and the IQ department in Fiets. Both of these two earned themselves a +800 in the odds book.

Could win

Dani Jackel

Dani's is a bit of an outsider on this cast, not being located in either the Chicago and New York Office. Which in my mind could play to her strength. There seems to be a bit of a natural divide that could form between the two offices and with her not necessarily having an allegiance to either could help her sneak by in the background to go far in the game! Odds +1050.

Marty, Nicky Smokes, Dana Beers, & Katic

This is a group of personalities whom are all athletic in their own rights and will surely play the social aspect of the game well. The problem here is that between the 4 of them I still am not sure if they have a combined IQ score of 100 which will hurt in the puzzle style games. Odds for each in this group +1200

Glenny Balls

The Return of Balls. Glenny will look to be a locker room guy and make friends with everyone. He's going to be a hard person to write his name down when it comes to the tribal council because everyone loves him! Only fear on this one is without being a full time employee will that give the Dave's of the world pause on letting someone from the outside win that sweet sweet prize? +1400

Barstool Pat

Another player who is not afraid to make enemies in the game is Pat. He'll surely play a smart game and will yet again probably play the social aspect very well. But will his knee hold him back in the physical challenges? Time will tell +1500

Better Luck next season

Annika, Hannah, & Ella

In this grouping I have all of the "Tik Tok Girls". Unless there is a competition where hitting the renegade gets you immunity I just don't see it from either of these 3. With that being said +2000

Brandon Walker

As a self proclaimed B-Walk guy, and "Family" member I really hope im wrong here. Brandon will likely get bored of the game sometime around day 2 and want to make the long trek to go home. +2500 odds

Meek Phil & Dante

Pulling up in last are Meek and Dante. Neither will play a great social game, for different reasons, and neither are good athletes by any stretch of the word. +5000 odds
