Barstool After Dark: Flag On The Play

I don't know how exactly, considering the last 7 days on Ohio Tate's schedule, but we have Barstool After Dark back in action with a banger! Quick round of applause for him being dialed in so well that he is ready for some FOOTBAW....FLAG FOOTBALL! Our Barstool favorites are ready to get hurt again as they make another attempt at the pros, this time on the gridiron as the U.S. Flag Football team comes into town. But watch out, as the Joes got a ball coach!

Tuesday night, the crew will be out in full force as they show off some skills on the field before taking on Team U.S.A. But this time they won't be the usual mess lacking leadership; instead, Coach Tom Zbikowski, yes the Notre Dame LEGEND( I am beyond jealous!!!), will be there to help bring order to a team desperately looking for direction. We have seen this team fold time and time again as they hit the slightest bit of adversity or physical exertion. The record tells the story for Barstool: with a big goose egg in the wins column over a year now, they have struggled to find any sort of momentum.

So could this be the week? Was all they needed some leadership? Or is it a problem of a lack of talent? Hmmm, actually, what about that talent? Let's find 10 names of people who could change this game & the fortunes of the Joes.

Alright, now we are playing football. Yes, flag is technically just 7s, but it's still football, so we gotta think this team needs to be centered around the 2 DUDES that played P4 college football: Katic & T-Bob. I feel like you start there, and then things can come together after that. And here's the thing with that: the drop-off isn't severe, as you have some athletes in Ebo and KB, and we can't forget Steven Cheah and his 4.5 speed!

After this, let's talk about possible underrated ballers. Nicky Smokes has to be headlining this group, as he could be a game-changer at QB or even running routes for the squad. Another guy who put in some work when Barstool did their flag football tourney was Danny Conrad, and coming off a birthday, he may be feeling electric & dangerous. Though the feeling has to be that the wheels may fall off after this, unless we can get a Mark Titus or Reed the Chiller to come in, the depth just really isn't there for our Joes.

What it all comes down to is who shows up when the lights get bright Tuesday night, and recent history tells us the Joes just aren't primetime players. But remember, Indiana was once the doormat of college football; storylines are built on underdogs. This is another chance for our Joes to put themselves in the rafters, and maybe even find themselves being Olympians down the road. It just takes one...let's not forget that.
