Stoolie's Worst Week of the Year

Ahhh yes....we are in the worst part of the year for sports fans. Stuck in what feels like a Groundhog Day scenario waiting for college football, the NFL, and so much more to follow in the fall and winter.

Yes, we’ve got a couple of big golf tourneys coming up to hold us over in the meantime. But something not talked about nearly enough is the week of the 4th, and it’s without a doubt the worst of the year for a diehard Stoolie.

Now yes, they take off in the winter too, but there’s so much more going on then. So this week? Has to be the worst, hands down.

Why, you ask? Well, this is the week in which most if not all of Barstool takes time off. All live releases shut down until after the holiday. Yes, some banked episodes still release, but we all know, as Stoolies, we always want more.

Some may tell you the easy answer is to try a new hobby, read a book, start a new show, or even get some more work done...

I’m not here to dish out hobby ideas or book recommendations—no, no, no.

I know what you really want.

Barstool content to hold you over until the 7th.

So yeah, some content may feel time-sensitive and might not have the same hold on our attention spans... but there are definitely a lot of re-watchables or even the chance to dive into some less explored Barstool universes.

Dozen Trivia League: Seasons 1–4

We’re all still riding high, I’m sure, from the Season 5 championship, which makes this the perfect time to roll back through Seasons 1 through 4.

Great chance to test your own trivia knowledge, relive all the great moments in Dozen history, or, if you're new get the full story on the mayhem that’s gone down. You’ll be shocked at some of the Stool personalities who’ve worn a trivia uniform.

A show that started as a way to get us through COVID is now one of the most popular franchises out there. Use this extra time to see Brandon Walker’s journey to the Promised Land.

Rediscovering America

This one’s a bit more niche, I’ll admit...but the episodes are timeless, and you get a great look into early Nick & KB projects. Like the Dozen, this one’s also educational (or at least you can spin it that way if you need to).

You get premier Barstool content while learning about the different corners of unsung America? What more could you want?

The episodes go quicker than you think, and they’re packed with random memorable moments. Also, Nick & KB have teased a possible revival in recent weeks. Now, knowing those two, it could be a bit, but if it’s real? A refresher course is a huge plus.

Barstool Game Shows

Barstool vs America, Surviving Barstool, Most Dangerous Game Show, Lowering the Bar...

ree

All of these are worth a re-watch. I listed a few to get you started, but seriously, who doesn’t want to go down the rabbit hole with Lowering the Bar, or revisit some Barstool vs America with Dana Beers & Kelly Keegs going up against Nicky Clicky?

ree

On the other side, a re-watch of early Surviving Barstool will do more for your 4th of July week than maybe anything else out there. These shows are timeless fun and give you insight into your favorite Barstool personalities outside their usual content lanes.

As Stoolies, new or OG, this is a great week to look beyond your usuals and dive into some of that niche Stool content.

And if you’re new to the Barstool world, no shame in that, let's take this time to learn the lore, get the full backstory, and see how deep this content goes.

It’s a long week with no live shows and not much in the way of sports, so do what we can with the past greats from the Barstool Sports brand.
