Football is BACK...YES IT IS!

Ladies & Gentlemen, we have football today. Yes, there is a live full length football game being played today, folks, this is not a drill!

Over the past week we’ve already jumped into faze of the overanalyzing every reporter and fan video, you know those 5-second clips of our teams in camp. And now, finally, we get to see some teams show us the 90% of players who’ll be starring in the UFL spring 2026. GOD you gotta love America!

Okay, you got me...yes, it’s a preseason game, and there’s basically a zero percent chance we see any starters.

But come on, you’re telling me your late May or early June self wouldn’t have killed to see a whole half of DJ Uiagalelei slinging wildly in the NFL? WE ALL WOULD!

Look what it boils down to is... It’s football, good or bad, stars or nobodies, we got 11 on 11, boys fighting for jobs... FOOTBAW!

I know it isn’t just me who finds themselves in between sets at the gym, stuck in a loop of “Delta Dawn” playing over glorious TikToks highlighting football.

Go ahead, sure...lie to yourself about how you haven’t turned on YouTube while whipping up dinner to throw on the 2004-25 NFL Playoff Recaps.

Fine, even lie to us all about how you don’t already have lists of your Top 10 picks for each position in your fantasy league.

Whatever, I’m the weird one then...sure sure sure.

And as you’re reading this, I also assume you’re hiding the fact about your sneaky futures that are totally gonna hit this season too.

Let’s just all get real for a minute, we ALL crave this tonight. We’re all gonna be sickos and tune in to DJ playing a whole second half of pro football, and immediately make rash comments online about his performance either way. OH OH OH & not to mention Trey Lance the majority of the 1st half!!!

And you know why we’ll all will be there tonight? CAUSE FOOTBALL IS MF BACK!

Remember this...there will be dark times again before we know it, we cannot avoid that unfortunate reality. So before we hit the Twitter fingers complaining about this extra game of what will undoubtedly be bad football... It’s still FOOTBALL!!!
