Can We Please Stop Catering to the West Coast?

This is getting out of hand. An 8:50 PM eastern tip time? For a national championship game? This is just insane, and I for one, am TIRED of it.

Whether it's Super Bowl Sunday, the college football national championship, the World Series, NBA championship - you name it, the start time will be STUPIDLY late for east coast.

I get it, there's a large market out there with LA, San Diego and SF, but let's sit back and all ask ourselves one simple question here:

WHO GIVES A FUCK ABOUT THE WEST COAST?!?!?

These start times for these championship games are so damn stupid. And I know its not the same game, but why on EARTH isn't the college football championship on a Saturday? What the heck are we doin here?

The Super Bowl is on a Sunday, college football should be on a Saturday and absolute for sure not on a Monday - just like this championship game. I get the break the players need, but do we need to push this start time to almost 9 PM on a fricken Monday?

Let's be real here, are people going to watch it regardless? Yes of course (including me). But why in the blue hell can we not at least make the game start at 7:30?

"How are the west coast people going to watch the game?" Who gives a shit? When the Mets played in the NLCS there was a game at 4:10 PM eastern and I had to miss over an hour of the broadcast for work, these stupid pacific time people can go scratch and suck it up for a half hour.

You don't like it and disagree with me? Move back east or suck it up. The majority of the country is in the time zones where it's going to be past midnight by the time this game ends while the west coast can watch the full game and be in bed by 9:30 PM.

Oh and to the people saying "well, ya know Ryan, YOU could move out west." I'd say you know what? You're right. I could. But 2 things:

1) I'm in the majority here so shut up.

2) I wouldn't be caught dead living out that way for numerous reasons.

Bottom line here is, stop making these games so damn late at night just to cater to one market when you have about 6 of the top 10 east of the Mississippi.
