Barstool After Dark: Don't Milk Your Mile

With the Chicago Marathon wrapping up this past Sunday, Barstool is keeping the theme rolling into the week. With multiple employees joining the marathon craze that hit the city, After Dark is now bringing a lil twist into the equation: The Milk Mile! As Twenty-six employees will join forces to run a 26.2 marathon… with MILK.

I know as your eyes scroll through that first paragraph, only confusion & questions arise. What is a Milk Mile?!? Well, you run a mile just like any other time...except every 1/4 mile, you have to chug a 12 oz glass of milk. So you’re looking at over 60 ounces of milk from start to finish. For those who aren’t "ounce-savvy", that’s about half a gallon of milk. Oh, and they’re on a timer of only 10 minutes not a big deal or anything. Then throw in the mini-games where you can mess with other runners, this will be fun, and the wheel deciding the order could get it all real messy with its picks.

Now, milk challenges are nothing new to Barstool. For instance, I don’t think we’ll be seeing Rico Bosco or TJ Hitchings among the 26. For those who don’t know why…watch with caution:

With those two definitely on the bench for this After Dark, the 26 will be fun to see. Already teased by Ohio’s Tate were Katic, T-Bob, Zac, Ella Grif, Dana Beers, and...ironically enough, finishing the marathon is Lucas. Sooooo for those who missed today’s Yak, Lucas thought he could run a marathon with literally zero training. So after being a non-finisher on Sunday, he’s now tasked with the final 1.2 of the Barstool Chicago Milk Marathon.

Ohhh I know its Chicago....but a dark horse?? Meek Phil? The man does love his milk...

Who else will be joining in on the fun? Some guesses to throw out, of course, Danny Conrad. Us Comrades know he’s always down for anything; the Comrades leader never ducks a challenge. Others I think would be great to see: KB, Chef Donny, Hannah Montoya, Mook, and Nicky Smokes. Just off the top of my head, they’d all bring a competitive mindset to this event.

Ohio’s Tate & Lucas won’t be alone in their misery this week. With an exciting marathon ahead and most of the Chicago office involved, this is one you can’t miss, no excuses stoolies, lets superchat it up!
