Barstool After Dark: Bros vs Pros DraftKings Style

Hold up Fall! Summer still has something to say on the shores of Lake Michigan this Wednesday afternoon into...well, most likely the evening. Barstool After Dark is hitting the sand courts tomorrow with up to 25K in DraftKings bet points up for grabs! Ohio’s Tate & After Dark legend Dana Beers will kick it off in one match...but that may only be the beginning.

In what looks to be setting up for another let’s see truly how unathletic Barstool Sports employees are type of night, we have bros vs. pros. With beach volleyball pros in teams of two taking on Barstool. Starting with the first match of 2v2, then adding one player each time Barstool loses a match until they win or get to 25v2. If they still cannot finish the job at that point, no credits will be won with the payout dropping 1k, and then also have to share the winnings with more bros each time a teammate is added. OH, also if 25 Barstool employees can’t get it done, they are then pummeled by the pros’ serves as a punishment. Gotta be a Lucas twist there.

Now I know what you are thinking, once it gets to, say, double digits against 2, how could they possibly not win...well why don’t you just check on back into Day 2 of Camp Barstool...take a quick little peek at how that went. I mean, you can have someone to stand everywhere on your side but if they can’t handle the spike...it’s cooked.

As much as I want to beam with confidence for my guy Tate & the rest of the Barstool gang, I also have been an After Dark reporter long enough to know athleticism isn’t riding high in the Chicago Office. But let’s think and try to find some, who are 3 must-adds to get this done quick.

1. Mark Titus

Basketball skills translate to the volleyball court, at Camp Barstool he proved this, and also uhhh yeah Chase Budinger is literally one of the best pro beach volleyball players in the country. Titus added early means someone who can compete at the net, which is going to be a game changer.

2. Nicky Smokes

Look, love or hate him, you need him. He is young, athletic, and so cocky that the pros will not intimidate him one bit...now that also makes him a bit of a wildcard though too, as he could get you some big points but then cost you a few too.

3. KB

College athlete, also intimidation factor too, looks-the-part kind of situation. Also, for reasons we know he could bring a mental edge, have him research the hell out of the pros and he can use that info to knock them off their game with his random questions on spelling bees, cold cuts, or water parks.

Now of course these are not the only players who could change the game quickly, and there are also some really content-oriented choices out there as well to make. It also is looking like it will be a Barstool ref, as Danny Conrad could be in the mix, so Comrades let’s get in the chat for our guy!
