Tip of the Cap to the Boy's Up North

Well, gotta give credit where it's due...the boys of the north took down the U.S. last night in another thriller between the two nations. Team U.S.A. unfortunately looked to have the injuries finally catch up to them, with Charlie McAvoy out, Matthew Tkachuk unable to go most of the game, and others skating fewer shifts as well. But no excuses here today. A huge positive is the massive amount of eyes that got on the game, and it came through with a classic to remember, even though it was another loss for the States to Canada.

So instead of tearing down Canada here or giving the usual speech of "play us in football, baseball, basketball, swimming, track & field, NASCAR, golf, any college or high school sports," whew, that is a lot more than I thought... No, no, no, we aren't doing that today. Canada deserves this one. In fact, you know the boys up there got some cool shit... ehh? Let’s take a deeper look into what else we can tip the cap to up North.

Ohh, the boys up here make a mean maples syrup, all-natural to help the kiddos grow up big and strong. The maples got us mutants like Connor McJesus, Nathan McKinnon, and Tommy Boy Wilson too. Important to take your daily Maples to grow up big 'n strong with the 2x4 in your hands on the sheet.

Sorrey, but they like to say "sorrey." I mean, Canadians are always going to make sure yous feel welcome and will be as polite as possible. They’ll win the game and apologize about five minutes later, ehh?

The national anthem "O Canada" slaps for sure. Sorrey, I ain't saying anything against The Star-Spangled Banner, but boys, boys—"With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free!" That’ll get the sack tingling more than when yous take a sip of the ole Timmy Horts, ehh?

Lastly, the Canucks can really dish out the chirps—a little tilly of the minds, a good back-and-forth with the boys before you drop the gloves. Look at this beauty fire off the chirps and riff with the Yak.

We also can't forget about Shoresy the king of chirps..

The Canadians even have a funny Travis ehh?

Gotta give it to them—they do have some solid perks up there. I could see us even finding some common ground. I mean, I love me some Letterkenny and Shoresy without hesitation. Not to mention, they’ve got some beaut national parks, fresh water, and summers.

I say, way to go, Canada, on winning what you’re already best at... but don’t get too comfortable. The countdown to the 2026 Winter Olympics has officially begun...
