Long gone are the days of Urban Meyer kicking kickers to ensure a W over the scumbags up north. Unfortunately today, we low-life Ohio State fans are relegated to watching a coach pull every string to scrape and claw against the colors he fears most only in hopes of being competitive. I'm starting to think we got lucky for covid and them backing out of The Game because this fucking coward would've let us down anyways.
First game post covid "we're gonna put 100 on 'em" game, 42-27 bad guys. Oh, and the games since 2021; 45-23, 30-24, and 13-10 bad guys. This fucking guy would've been fired at ANY OTHER CONTENDING PROGRAM besides Penn St. (their belief in Franklin is insanity at its finest)
But I digress. Everything about this team under its current regime has been upsetting. Not to mention the inability to find someone to make a field goal. Was costing a trip to the national title not enough evidence?
That field goal broke Day but he was already dead. We true fans have been calling for his head on a stake since he first lost to Harbaugh. Meyer was a prick, but he beat Michigan. You HAVE to beat Michigan.
The Buckeyes will limp their way into the playoffs, and maybe even the Natty, which is why I'm convinced this was a long con. To avoid embarrassment on a neutral field to Oregon, since Danny Lanning already owns Day and he doesn't want that smoke. So I say, let's end the charade early before he tricks us into believing again, forfeit our playoff game, and build a better program.
