Hockey Keeps Stackin' Wins

The NHL season started its stretch run to the playoffs after the long break on Saturday. Coming off record viewership from the Four Nations final, they needed to build on all this momentum.

Two things with this clip...first and foremost, let’s give a well-deserved round of applause to Rob Ray for taking it like a freakin’ champ! Also, I looked into this he was a certified badass back in his playing days. But now to the part that kept the league buzzing: without hesitation, he just drops a “fuck” in what might be the most perfect one since Lee Corso on College GameDay. Hockey just keeps looking cooler by the day. Does anyone know the score? NOPE! But did this go mega-viral? Absolutely. So… WINNING!

The second source of evidence is actually a controversy uncovered by Barstool’s own Frank the Tank, and it’s already got the pundits of the sport talking. Well-known ball-watcher Liam Blutman even weighed in on the issue.

The New Jersey Devils are now in a tough spot. You can’t go out and have Ms. Fields win the next game...if she does, all the talk will be about whether it was fixed. But at the same time, we’re in the middle of a playoff push, and you can’t be giving away games. So what’s the move? Do you stop the competition completely, or play it subtle and have Fields win two games from now?
