Best Dressed at the NFL Draft

It's almost football season friends. Last night was round 1 of the NFL Draft bringing us one step closer to football season. I love draft night not only because of the prospects and the excitement, but I LOVE seeing all the fits. Before I get into my best dressed of the night, I have 2 things to say:

  1. In Ben we trust, Bear Down. I was bummed for a couple seconds when the raiders drafted Jeanty, but for once in my life, I actually have faith in our coaching staff and executives. Colston Loveland you're our guy and I'm pumped to watch you play.

  2. Why the fuck was there an announcement for the announcement of the schedules? so dumb lol.

Alright, let's get into it, here are my top 10 best dressed from the draft last night

  1. Will Johnson (Michigan), not drafted yet

I know he's not drafted yet, but Will Johnson was there and looked great. I love the all-white look with the darker shoes and glasses. It seems like timeless look that we'll see many times again in some way or another.

  1. Maxwell Hairston (Kentucky), No. 30 pick by the Buffalo Bills

I LOVE a colorful and I am also a big sucker for personalizing things with pictures. I loved pretty much everything about this outfit except for his shoes. I didn't think they matched the overall vibe of the fit, so I left them out. I also love the ode to his alma mater with the blue suit.

  1. Jihaad Campbell (Alabama), No. 31 pick by the Eagles

Again, I am a sucker for a custom suit lined with pictures. I love how much of a personal touch it adds to anything, especially a special occasion like this. You also can't go wrong with an all-black outfit. It always looks so sleek. I also love the trend of the ankle pant look with loafers.

  1. Tyler Booker (Alabama), No. 12 pick by the Cowboys

I hate the Cowboys so much, but Tyler Booker looks like he gives a great hug. He looks like a Teddy Bear and a guy I would trust with my life. He just gives off good vibes. His outfit kind of looks like a colorized version of an old timey news reporter, but in the best way.

  1. Tetairoa McMillan (Arizona), No. 8 pick by the Panthers

Purple is my favorite color, so clearly, I liked this outfit. I like the idea of it, but I think a purple suit could be done in a way to bring more "oomph" to it. That's why he's not higher on the list but I still think he looks great. I also love that the lei he is wearing was handmade by his grandmother to add a personal touch.

  1. Jalen Milroe (Alabama), not drafted yet

Jalen hasn't been drafted yet but that doesn't mean he didn't look good. He's in a custom chrome hearts suit that fits perfectly. You can never go wrong with a well-tailored suit.

  1. Will Campbell (LSU), No. 4 pick by the Patriots

I don't know why but I love this look. He looks like a modern-day mafia man, and I dig it. The white sneakers make it the perfect classy athlete look. I have no complaints.

  1. Travis Hunter (Colorado), No. 2 pick by the Jaguars

I mean come on; I'm just a girl and I am loving the hot pink suit. It's not too much paired with black pants and accessories. I also love that it is not a traditional suit jacket, making for a unique look.

  1. Ashton Jeanty (Boise State), No. 6 pick by the Raiders

I love this look. I love the lacey design on the suit that you can barely tell is there unless you are looking closely. I love the way the buttons look on the suit and how the cuffs and collar are like a velvet material to contrast the rest of the suit. Obviously, I have to say something about the crocs. I love them. I know a lot of people hated them, but how can you hate Swarovski-studded crocs. Comfort and class; the best of both words.

Finally, my top pick for best dressed at the 1st round of the NFL draft:

  1. Matthew Golden (Texas), No. 23 pick by the Packers

I hate the Packers with my whole being, even more than I hate the cowboys, but I cannot deny that they picked the best dressed prospect at the NFL draft. The whole thing is amazing, the gold details, the personalized jacked with pictures on the inside, and all the accessories go along perfectly. To make his outfit even better, his last name is Golden. I mean how can you not love it. He matched his suit to his name and actually pulled it off.

Honorary Mention: Cam Ward (Miami), No. 1 pick by the Titans

I mean don't get me wrong; he looks great. But this is not a number 1 overall draft pick outfit.

PS. Adam Schefter did not look great, like Steven Cheah said in the En Eff El Draft Show

Enjoy your weekend, friends. We're one step closer to football season. #BearDown
