BEATING THE BUNDY ALLEGATIONS

Ok before I get in my bag and go in on beating the allegations addressed in both the title of this blog and in the video, let's talk about the whole reason why they were said in the first place. "The Locker Room" is a weekly part of "Bussin' With The Boys" where Taylor Lewan, Will Compton, and Delanie Walker preview and pick NFL/CFB games. Every week a fan "calls in" with a video giving them a parlay where they can either end up on the Call of Fame (if it wins) or the Call of Shame (if it loses). My good friend Jarod Beeman is a producer for Bussin. If you don't know who he is, he once famously ate a burrito in front of Adam22:

I saw on his social media a couple of days ago that they were still looking for a fan to send in a parlay video. I jumped on the opportunity, threw on my ugly elf Christmas sweater and The Boys hat, and opened up DraftKings. After looking at some odds and games this is what I came up with despite the legs of the parlay being a few days apart (sue me):

Now that I showed you the parlay I've gotta hit you with some statistics for each leg.

1ST LEG: DERRICK HENRY ATTD

• Derrick Henry has rushed for 1,431 yards (102.2 YPG) and scored 12 TDs in 14 career games against the Texans

• He hasn't scored a touchdown in his last 4 games and just feels due for one

• The Texans have given up 1,602 rushing yards in 15 games to opponents this season (106.8 YPG) and 9 rush TDs. Considering the Texans sadly just lost Tank Dell for the season, their offense may take a step back which allows the Ravens to have the ball more.

2ND LEG: JAXON SMITH-NJIGBA ATTD

• He's 5th in the league in receiving yards with 1,089 yards and the Bears are giving up 240 passing yards and 19 TDs this season.

• Take a look at some games the Bears have allowed from really good receivers in just their last 3 games alone:

  • Jameson Williams: 143 yards and 1 TD

  • Amon-Ra St. Brown: 70 yards and 1 TD

  • Justin Jefferson: 73 yards and 1 TD

  • Jauan Jennings: 90 yards and 2 TDs

  • That's not to mention a 2 TD game from Sam Laporta on Thanksgiving and a 151-yard game from George Kittle too.

3RD LEG: GEORGIA BULLDOGS ML

• No stats here just putting my faith in the Bulldogs led by Kirby Smart who is a possible Ewing-Theory candidate with Carson Beck being out and Gunner Stockton taking over now.

Ok, now time for the Bundy allegations. Taylor, it's the holidays and I guess you aren't picking the advice Smitty gave us all months ago: CHOOSE LOVE. There are absolutely no "bodies decomposing in barrels" in my mom's apartment where I filmed the video. Sorry that when I said, "Let's take a walk" (paying homage to your fellow Boy, Will Compton, by the way) it only took 4 steps for me to end up in my closet. Now I'm also not stupid enough to think I can go toe-to-toe both physically or online against a 6ft 7 former Pro-Bowl offensive lineman with a huge platform that I have always been a fan of and supported. I've been told I look like you a lot by my dad, friends, and random people. But if we want to say who gives up "Ted Bundy" vibes more let's do a quick side-by-side.

Does the guy on the left REALLY scream Ted Bundy vibes more than the guy on the right? I would say no. However, the guy on the left does give off vibes that he needs a football helmet off the field though. Even I can admit that. Let's just wait to see whether I'm on the Call of Fame or the Call of Shame. Because if the parlay wins, Ted Bundy never won you any money. Happy Holidays everyone and remember. Choose love.
