Barstool Feud: Who Will Join El Pres in Atlanta?

People always claim that Monday is the worst day, but not when comes to the Barstool Universe this week.

Kicking things off will be one of the top After Dark streams of all-time following The Yak on Monday afternoon with a Last To Leave challenge that you can read about from Coach Day here.

However, over the next three days, fans of the historic TV game show Family Feud and Barstool will get the best of both worlds as four teams of four will gather together for a chance to become the best Family Feud quartet at the Stool.

Oh yeah, and the winner will join Dave Portnoy in Atlanta and star in Barstool's debut on Family Feud.

As the tweet reads, there are four teams squaring off with one semifinal match happening on Monday, May 4 at 6:00 p.m. CT and the other premiering on Tuesday, May 5 at 6:00 CT. The winner of the two semifinal matches will meet on Wednesday, May 6 at 6:00 CT to see who moves on to ATL.

Rosters of teams are as followed:

TEAM KFC: KFC, Frank the Tank, Steven Cheah, and Stu Feiner.

Team Grinders: Coach Jon Gruden, Fran, PFT Commenter, and Henry Lockwood.

Team Kirk & Whit: Kirk Minihane, Ryan Whitney, Rico Bosco, and Jersey Jerry.

Team Brandon: Brandon Walker, Eddie, Frankie Borrelli, and Mintzy.

Now, let's breakdown each match and who I predict will be moving on the finals and winning it all!

Match 1: TEAM KFC vs. TEAM GRINDERS

I really like the well-rounded lineup that Team Grinders offers. You have one of the most energetic coaches of our lifetime leading a group who loves to compete in win. A player like Fran and PFT who have championship winning experience with The Dozen might single handily be enough to prevail them through to the final. One question I have is how Henry Lockwood will perform under pressure with limited time to guess the most popular answers? KFC and Frank the Tank can generate momentum quickly, but that same emotion can swing against them if things don’t go their way. Is Cheah going to be able to answer a question without having to ask a clarifying question? We know we are bound to get some laughs from Team KFC though with Stu Feiner on the roster!

PREDICTION: Team Grinders

Match 2: TEAM KIRK & WHIT vs. TEAM BRANDON

This sort of feels like the Final Four matchup between Michigan vs. Arizona where this feels like the championship game happening as a semifinal. I am a huge Brandon Walker guy and he will have to be on his absolute A game in order for his team to have a chance. I like the competitive nature that he and Frankie will bring, and I think Eddie is a sneaky game show machine guy. However, it takes four to win and who knows how Mintzy is going to perform under the bright lights? Across from them will be two of the best trash talkers at the Stool in Kirk Minihane and Ryan Whitney. Those two alone will make any opponent get a little nervous. I think Minihane will be able to help carry teams with more random and less obvious answers, while Rico and Jerry can get hopefully manage the layups and help this team advance to the finals!

PREDICTION: TEAM KIRK & WHIT

Match 3: TEAM KIRK & WHIT vs. TEAM GRINDERS

These two teams for all the marbles is a great matchup on paper! Is Hank going to lose his ground he has made up his Ryder of the Year position and spoil Rico's chance of going to Atlanta? Surely not. Fran will be a huge X-Factor in this game and will need to be ready to try and carry her team through what will be a difficult path with Whitney and Minihane on the other side. The difference in this matchup feels like discipline versus emotion, especially in a format where one bad round can flip everything. I feel an upset brewing.

PREDICTION: TEAM GRINDERS
