Barstool Beach House: Week 2...What's Next?

Yep, that’s right, we have the return to the shore. Only 72 hours removed from the mayhem, carnage, and glorious drunken escapades of our beach house darlings… they are back. After a record-opening weekend of drama and taking the internet by storm, we are all systems go for round two. So now what? Will the vibes change? Grudges carry over?

The Barstool Beach House is back, so make sure those phones are charged!

Throughout the week, we’ve seen the continuing impact of weekend one on the crew, with the sobering of the cast as they look back on clips they missed, or just straight up forgot. With all the backtracking has come a lot of old (and even new) beef, the biggest being Danny & Nicky Smokes. Conrad is still visibly upset whenever the topic comes up on The Yak, even through Wednesday. And let’s not forget, Danny has always said it’s all about weekend two. So Conrad’s Comrades better be on standby for our guy.

Now for Smokes, the question becomes: what does he truly want? Does he want to continue going after America’s love story as the villain of the beach house? Or will he turn his attention to becoming the no-f****-given player? Either path should be wildly entertaining to watch. I’ll say it again: Nicky is either coming out of this thing with a two-year contract or no job at all. There’s no in-between with him. The man is clicks!

Another storyline to watch heading into this weekend is the NightKrawler Katic. Can he continue this generational run? Ummmm YES, duh. If you don’t already know, this blogger has been calling for this moment since his first After Dark appearance. Last weekend, I finally got to feel what Mel Kiper must feel when he nails the prospect pick. Katic silenced the critics in weekend one, and I don’t doubt his encore will be just as good. Then you throw in his sidekick Ella Grif, this duo will be unstoppable.

When looking at weekend two, though, with the first one blowing up online, my major worry is now outsiders. The fame-seekers could be coming in droves, girls after America’s sweetheart Tommy Smokes, or the villain and shore bad boy Nicky Smokes. Or maybe even a darker turn with guys looking to start something or take a shot at a Barstool personality. We all know the fame-seekers are out there thinking this is their shot.

Barstool’s armies better be ready. With new additions all over the web, Katic’s Krawlers, Conrad’s Comrades, Dante’s Inferno, and Grif’s Gang, they all look locked and loaded to defend their leaders through another weekend of shenanigans.

Whatever this weekend holds, it’s already off with a bang, Smokes already has his Twitter fingers in beach house mode, Dante is making predictions, and Katic is starting with an airport beer. For those who think week two may be a letdown… think again. We’re off and running!
