Barstool After Dark Update

With 2026 off to such a busy start for Barstool, Barstool After Dark's host Ohio's Tate not only hasn't been immune to the content and numbies blast, but really has led the charge in many ways. Of course, with that being said, due to all of his new assignments, After Dark has had to miss a few weeks here and there, including this upcoming Tuesday...so we will have to patiently hold tight until next Tuesday for a new edition of our favorite late-night antics.

Now, while I understand the frustration for those who may be first and foremost After Dark crazos, we have to look at the full picture here. We want the product, of course, to be at its best, and we know Tate cares about what he puts out. This week, it’s safe to say the dude needs a little recharge. After barely escaping Birmingham with Mintzy for three days and late nights, he flew straight to Vegas where I would be shocked to hear if he got more than 20 hours of sleep for the week! Any normal human being would have been going straight to therapy after a Panic wekeend with Mintz, but this dude then went to Vegas to work a show that saw people drop like flies, yet again though he completed the job. Oh & let's not forget Lucas was also called into the mayhem of Spring Break as well!

It's good to be a little frustrated, though, as it does show the importance of After Dark to its army, but that is something I'm sure Tate and Lucas know enough not to put anything out just to put it out. So yes, we have had some off-time this year with the new season, but also, I dare you to think of any "dud" they’ve put out. The numbers show the content is still there and booming, always giving us something to chat about! We can't place blame on the crew for showing off their talents on other forms content either. Still, keep the energy up, as I'm sure it shows the guys how much their fans love the After Dark universe and can't wait for its return.

Tate did give a little hint into next week's return, with a big group on tap and potentially an all-nighter on hand. How this dude does all these long hours still shocks me, but him, Lucas, and the After Dark crew (including Ryan & White Boy Rick) are a team we are lucky to have in charge of this show. We shall see what is next, & be prepared to reign down on them from the chat yet again.
