Barstool After Dark: Chasing a Mini Major

Feeling let down by the U.S. Open, like I am? Well, we've got just the pick-me-up we all need. Ohio's Tate is chasing the Mini Major this Tuesday night on Barstool After Dark. Tate has grabbed two of Barstool's best to join in chasing the course record of 30 on one of the world's best miniature golf courses, as the ANUS boys KB & Nick Turani join this Tuesday night... NOOO, Hank will not be there, why have you already asked three times!!!
Alright, Tate's video, as always, does a great job setting up the rules and the goal at hand. For those who live under a rock and never had a first date so you don't know what mini-golf is, just go ahead and turn on Happy Gilmore (the OG one) and that is the perfect crash course. Or, if you can't stream it, just search "Hank Lockwood Barstool" on YouTube and it's bound to be in the top 5 videos.
We have to love this setup Tuesday. We have the man himself, Tate; former Kent State wrestler Kyle Baur, and then the chirp master himself, Nick Turani, who is always behind the desk for big golf streams, so we almost get a breaking-the-fourth-wall moment here. And for those already clamoring that this will be done in an hour... I don't know if you skipped ahead in Tate's video or not... but he did say "7 hole-in-ones" just to double-check there... yeaaaaa, you might wanna sneak in an afternoon nap, this is gonna be a long night.
Now, with us just off the heels of the U.S. Open, I felt it best to give a comp to a PGA or LIV golfer for each of our competitors in this quest. Just to help out the hardcore golf fans out there see who we have in terms of talent.
KB: Brooks Koepka
KB Koepka

This one feels too easy, right? KB is the man all about health & working out just like our guy Brooks Koepka, also they both have that quiet & calm nature to them. Now with the actual game of golf the comparison may fall apart there, but this one still works. Brooks is known for benching easily over 225 & watching his very strict diet while being one of the tours coolest players too.
Nick Turani: Max Homa
Nicky Homa

Another one that is just a perfect match on paper. If you don't know the Homa lore, you have to do a quick Twitter check. Known for his sarcastic humor and chirping fans on golf Twitter, I feel we can expect the same from Turani tonight when the chat gets on our guys. Also, Homa is no slouch on the course either, as he gets it down in a more underdog fashion, which could be the case for the man who, oddly enough, is celebrating his one-year anniversary with Barstool on Tuesday night! Just like Homa when you see Nicky you Clicky.
Ohio's Tate: Rory McIlroy
Ohio's McIlory

Alright, before you get on my ass saying "you're just hyping Tate up," this ain't about the golf game here, folks. Think about the Rory vs. crowd best moments, and that could be a carbon copy of Tate vs. the chat. Also, throw in the slight possibility of a club throw or two and you would put your mortgage on it being Tate... right? Just this past weekend, Rory with an all-time comeback with the crowd being on his ass screams a Tate comeback. This is the best one out there, no doubt about it. Just see this from Rory this past weekend!

Of course, it wouldn't be an After Dark preview without some odds on the stream. This time we have kept it very simple, down to four bets on the stream. With the superchat in their ears all night, the numbers are skewed a bit for sure, as also we need to be on the lookout for some Wyndham Clark silencing-the-fans behavior potentially from Lucas or Ryan up top?
Tuesday, we have the true major in golf upon us as the boys go for 30. Lucas hopefully isn't going to be scared like the USGA this past week either, and he'll keep the greens dry and the hole placement elite for some potential carnage, as the chat surely will be rooting for the course in this one. Who do you have as the hero or even zero on the course, and do you think they can break 30?
