Let's get this out of the way first. Yes, everyone knows I love Mizzou, so this blog will seem biased, but I will do my best to try and keep a level head.
Folks, we are living in a time where the best running back in the country resides in Columbia, MO.
If you haven't heard the name, you better get to know it... AHMAD HARDY!
The bad news is that people aren't respecting my guy because Mizzou is always overlooked and always has something to prove. The good news is that you can get Hardy at 60/1 to win the Heisman on DraftKings still.
However, if you're doing it now, you are a little late to the party.
Check that date out... August 19 and no odds listed on DK and now 60/1. I'll take a few sentences here to give Blutman his props. Obvious longtime ball knower, but this man has been on the Hardy train since last year when he was a dominant force at UL-Monroe. He is always giving love to Mizzou, Hardy, and the rest of the boys which I gladly appreciate.
I know that some people were thinking he was going to dominate because everyone wanted to claim the Tigers had an "easy" schedule, but for him to run for 138 yards and one touchdown on 22 carries on Saturday in their 29-20 victory for the Mayors Cup over South Carolina shows you that he can do this against legitimate competition.
Look at these runs...
Shoutout Megan Makin' Money as well. Elite ball knowledge and has been on the Hardy Hype train for awhile too along with Brandon Walker and T-Bob consistently giving love to Mizzou.
All this and we haven't mentioned that in the other three games this year, he has rushed for 100 yards on 10 carries against UCA and a touchdown, 25 carries for 112 yards and a touchdown against kansas, 22 rushes for 250 carries and 3 touchdowns (3 quarters) against Louisiana. 600 rushing yards, six touchdowns and has helped lead Mizzou to a 4-0 start and up to No. 20 in the latest AP poll.
Per Blutman: Ahmad Hardy has rushed for 600 yards this season, 458 rushing yards after contact, and has forced about 37 missed tackles Those 458 yards would rank No. 6 in the FBS for rushing yards leaders
Just wanted to give Blutman more love.
I say all this in respect to Jeremiyah Love (S/O St. Louis) and Justice Haynes.
Last thing, and then we will get out of here. Hardy loves horses. No troll, he literally LOVES horses.
How can you not be fascinated by that? Anyways, keep doubting him and keep doubting Mizzou.
MIZ!
