Week 7: Dozen Trivia Preview

The madness of March continues this week on the court & in the Dozen Trivia League. The season feels to be flying by, as I'm sure teams on the bubble are feeling the pressure to get that signature win. This week we have a couple of matches with those exact chances up for grabs, but it's the Sunday Night Showdown that may be the hot ticket, with the #1 ranking for Ziti on the line as they take on the Booze Ponies, who are hot as ever after an early stumble.
Tuesday Night
So yes, Minihane is 1-1, but for Chris Klemmer's sake, his team is in a must-win situation or he could be on waivers by the end of the week. Even in a win last time out, there was clear friction between the two over his performance. Klemmer needs a legacy game like we need more March Madness games to bet on. As for Gen XYZ, it is a MUST WIN, or else the playoffs feel like a long shot for a team that has a Final Four run under its belt.

College Sports: This is the only clear advantage for Gen XYZ on the board. If they can double both basketball & football & grab them, this could be the match.
Does Klemmer handle the pressure? Or does he want off the team & a fresh start?
Is Kirk finding his MVP form again at the right time?

Thursday Night
We have family going against each other Thursday night! The Hoagies are still looking for their franchise's first win. This one, no offense to my guy TJ...is feeling like a 16 vs. 1 matchup. The Experts, since they fell early on, have been back in their championship form. For the Hoagies, it's not that they’ll do anything wrong, but more so: will the Experts give them any chances to get a steal?

Can Brandon break a scoring record, or will playing family calm him?
Sisters Gia vs. Fran going against each other in Celebrity Mashup! This one will be very interesting!
What will the Hoagies double? Their strengths align right with the Experts'.

Sunday Night Showdown
WOAH! We have a matchup you do not want to miss this Sunday. Could it be a Final Four or championship preview? This is one in which you have to wonder if Dana Beers can perform in front of the boss man. Also, Ziti may still think of Willy C as a 2pt chump, but as we know, he is scoring very well, around 6-7 pts a game, which has taken the Ponies to a new level.

Does the Willy C hot streak continue, or has it been a fluke?
Eddie & Clem vs. Dana & Feits has to be one of the most underrated matchups in the league.

The league is starting to shape up as we enter the last week of March, meaning there are just over two months left in the regular season. With that being said, each match has a heightened impact on the playoff race; already, you are beginning to feel some teams are in "win now or out" territory. On the other end of the spectrum, you have the playoff-safe squads jockeying for better seeding. Jeff D. Lowe has the league humming, so make sure to tune in this week!
