Week 17: Sunday Funday Parlay & Cool Bets

Well, Christmas Day we stuck to the season theme of giving, as we gave Vegas oh so many gifts. A complete flop that I greatly apologize for. What gave me a little immediate solace was seeing I was not alone in the meltdown, as many experienced a similar downfall. The good thing is we always get another day. This, though, is most likely the final data-driven weekend, with the last weekend of the season always so unpredictable with who will or won’t play. So we must take advantage now!

Rico Dowdle ATTD +195

The Panthers continue their quest to fulfill their destiny of making the Super Bowl (PMT has the full story on this one). Dowdle is also in line for some nice bonuses with a good game. His play has been such a key to their re-emergence this season.

Trey McBride ATTD +110

This one comes with my sicko Bengals fan in mind. He has told me all season they can’t guard a TE to save their life. So you combine that with the Cardinals’ pass-heavy game, and you’ve got yourself A LOT of opportunities ahead for Trey. In fact, I may get silly with it & sprinkle 2 TDs for him.

Saquon Barkley 2 TDs +600

Speaking of 2 TDs… Barkley is facing a defense that has been gashed all season long on the ground. This feels like one of those games with seeding on the line that could be a measuring stick for what each team could be in January/February… Saquon is ready to get in playoff form.

Now we move to the Sunday Funday parlay, with a win needed more than ever after a few heartbreakers the past couple of weeks. As crazy as it may sound, we are going back to the well to start this one off… yep, you guessed it, Baker Mayfield himself. His line, due to some bad games, is very low against a Dolphins team that has been giving up yards!! 220+ passing yards in a must-win out of Baker is a sweat we are all built for.

Oh, & speaking of sweating… let’s get real wild for the second leg in Jets QB Brady Cook 170+ passing yards. He is at home against a Pats team that feels a little banged up. IF there was ever a spot for a Jets QB to sling it, this is the time. Cook has the ability & averages 175 a game. We can get him there!

For our last leg, we have to go with the one & only Josh Allen. He is sitting at 200+ passing yards. Yes, this is against a great Eagles secondary. But the feeling here is they are going to focus on stopping James Cook & Allen from going crazy on the ground. In what looks to be the game of the week, we have to look for Allen to get us 200 in the air!

The ship got a little off course this week; now is the time to get this thing right again. Also, don’t forget to bet the Sunday Funday parlay as single bets as well to cover your butt! The last Sunday of 2025 is upon us, let’s make it a good one!
