What a week we have before us, with the last play-in spot on the line! We are less than a month away from the Final Four & only a couple of weeks away from the play-in tournament! The season feels like it just started somehow, but here we are with the Experts & Uptown Balls locking down the 1-2 spots & vying for the regular season championship later this month. Now, we just need to see how the rest line up behind them!
Tuesday Night
Well, this is what we like to see, folks, a little 163rd-game action! Please tell me that analogy stuck the landing, by the way. We have the ice-hot Dawgs looking to get into the play-ins with a win against the Red Team, who just took a beating from the Experts. Though that isn't anything to hang their hats on, as that has been everyone this year. Hopefully, the return of Dante The Don will prove to be a difference-maker for Red Team fans. As for the Dawgs, the resurgence of David Andrews has this team looking like one that, with a win here, could be a scary Cinderella come June.
Keys to the Matchup:
David Does: David Andrews has to continue to be that dude, scoring 7+ over his last 3 games.
Big Temper: Big T lost his cool against the Experts; will he be able to handle the pressure of a win-or-go-home game?
Food Critics: Both teams know their food; whoever slips up here could decide the game.

Thursday Night
Sabre Spoilers? The Grinders are looking to make the play-ins, but standing in their way is a team with nothing to lose. Sabre has a chance to take the final spot away from the Grinders with a win here. Of course, Power Points will play a factor, but a win by a wide margin would put the committee in quite the spot! As for the Grinders, they will yet again look to the duo of Jake Malasek & Frank the Tank to lead them to a victory & the driver's seat of the play-ins.

Have you MET Frank?: Will the Mets' up-and-down play affect Frank the Tank's mentality?
Pop Culture Wizards: Mad Dog & Malasek are two great pop culture trivia players—this matchup could change the game.
Revenge Game: Will Blutman, the former Grinder, show his old Coach Gruden why he shouldn't have traded him?

Prediction: Grinders 15, Sabre 11
Sunday Night Showdown
A matchup between the two teams many feel have the best shot at the Experts. While Minihane's squad is in some desperate need of a get-right game going into the playoffs, Ziti feels to be in cruise control, similar to the Experts, as their only loss was from early on in the season. Eddie & Clem are a duo you don't wanna see across from ya as June hits. For Minihane, a win here could put them on the opposite side of the bracket, a huge win-win for sure!
Keys to the Matchup:
Klemmer Klutch?: Can Klemmer keep his captain happy? Last time out, it looked very grim for the future of the squad.
Let the Big Dawgs EAT: Will Ziti hold their double for a food category? Lately, their doubling has been very random.
Kirk Takeover: It's getting close to summer & time for the temperatures to heat up!

With what looks to be the final week of the season before we get the championship matchup for that regular season belt, there is still a lot of jockeying for position & potentially two play-in spots up for grabs in a week you do not wanna miss.
