USA USA USA! I LOVE GOOOOLLLDDD!!

The United States women’s hockey team took down Canada with a golden goal in OT from Megan Keller, after Hilary Knight came through with a masterful tip with two to go in regulation to force overtime. The women finished off one of the most dominant runs you’ll ever see en route to gold over Canada. As the Olympics continue to fire up, hockey is taking over the country, from Quinn Hughes for the men yesterday to Keller today for the gold. We have gotten 5…yes, 5 straight OT sudden-death Olympic win-or-go-home games in a row!

As us Americans celebrate the dominance of our ladies in these Olympics, we may not be done yet, as tomorrow the men continue their push for the hockey sweep when they face Slovakia for a spot in the Gold Medal game Sunday. Today though the focus goes to the clutch goals, but also a round of applause needs to go to Aerin Frankel, she made some saves as she stood on her head tonight!

Hockey over the past 12 months has been on an all-time run, starting with the Four Nations tournament last February to now these Olympics, with all nations playing an infectious brand of the game that has Americans buying in more than ever.

We all need to show the love deserved to the women on this squad, as they have been nothing short of impressive on the world stage. We’ve got the guys with a tough one tomorrow, so prep & be ready…but in the meantime… I LOVE GOOOOLLLDDDDDD!!!
