The Boston Red Sox Are A Wagon

This team is an absolute roller coaster this season but the bottom line is they are legit World Series contenders. We have put up with a lot of bullshit over the last few years, specifically this year with the Rafael Devers saga. Will he DH? Will he play 3rd base? Will he move to 1st base? Will he fight Craig Breslow in the street?

Since they sent him packing the Boston Red Sox are 26-15. They are playing some of the best baseball in the league. Roman Anthony has started to crush baseballs and opponent’s dreams, Alex Bregman is having one of the best seasons of his career, Trevor Story has risen from the dead, Rob Refsnyder and Romy Gonzalez are tremendously locked in and annihilating left handed pitching, Garrett Crochet is a Cy Young Candidate, Lucas Giolito looks like an elite starter, Brayan Bello has taken the next step forward, Aroldis Chapman is the best closer in baseball. The list goes on.

It’s been a disappointing, frustrating, infuriating, and overall depressing last few seasons. It seemed like we were stuck in mediocrity and this season started out the same way but these guys have started to hit their stride and are playing great baseball and fun baseball. It’s been a joy to watch. I have no idea if they are gonna win the World Series, I have no idea if they are gonna win a postseason game but goddamn It feels nice to have a seat on this roller coaster ride for a change and not waiting in line while you watch your rivals enjoy the ride.

Also, the Yankees suck.
