The 2025 QB Draft Class STINKS

There has been so much talk about teams signing veteran QB's this offseason, which in my correct opinion means, this quarterback draft class fuckin sucks.
I've been preaching it since the end of college football among family and friends, but I will die on the hill that I believe every quarterback in this draft will be a humongous bust - except for maybe one and I will get to that later.
Let's make one thing VERY clear. I am a Giants fan that knows that I shouldn't be complaining about mediocracy considering I've seen 2 amazing Super Bowls in my life, beating the GOAT in Tom Brady both times. With that being said, this organization has done everything wrong in the last two years with Schoen holding the reigns and really haven't been competitive since Eli retired - or since dumbass Ben McAdoo benched him for Geno Smith. Are ya kiddin me McAdoo?
Anyway, the search for a franchise QB since Manning has been a disaster. Daniel Jones had one good year and we expected him to lead us to a division title after, an admittedly awesome, playoff win over the Vikings in '22. But this team is on another path to disaster if we draft any of these guys this season.
This guy sucks. Ohio State had a great season, but he was for sure not the reason why, especially considering his performance above. Absolutely atrocious.
Considering the fact that both "top" QB's (Ward and Sanders) are waiting for their pro day to do anything where they will be made to look good, instead of participating in the combine, that should open your eyes to ensure that they are not ready for the bright lights.
If the Giants are seriously considering anyone at QB with that number 3 pick, I'd highly reconsider and go after best available. I've been on the let's suck again for 2025 train since about week 4 of the 2024 season, and I don't plan on changing my mind about it. I'll take any veteran except for Russ just because of the way he seems to disappear in the locker room and is no longer a guy other players look to for leadership which is essential in the quarterback position.
HOWEVER......
If they were to take a QB in the number three slot, look no further than Jaxson Dart. He might not have had the stats to prove anything in his 2024 season, but this kid can sling it and could surprise some people in the league.
He might not have the name of Sanders or Ward, but I do believe he is the best option in the draft at his position. Do I think he is worthy of the number 3 overall pick? Probably not. Will that cost Joe Schoen his job if he takes him there and the Giants start 0-2? Yes (and good riddance). But hey, if you want to take a shot at a rookie QB that isn't named Arch Manning, go for it. Otherwise I'm signing Rodgers, Fields, Cousins or almost any other veteran QB that wants a chance to go 3-14 and put a blemish on their career.
If I had it my way, I'm doing whatever it takes to draft Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter with that number three pick. Carter is an absolute stud and a game wrecker on the defensive side of the ball that will have an immediate impact on Sundays.
I mean look at this kid. He absolutely rocks. The Giants haven't had a defensive player like this since the Strahan, Osi and Tuck days. Get this guy and lets get some pressure on the quarterback in every game this season.
Now if they decide to go the Hunter route, you're getting two players in one. And I know more than likely he won't be playing both sides of the ball for every single snap in the league, but I can almost guarantee he will have an impact on both offense and defense in the same game at some point this coming season, wherever he ends up.
Between the ball skills on offense AND defense, this kid is going to be special.
Look, all I'm saying is if Sanders was as good as he thinks he is, he would have led Colorado to AT LEAST a bowl win this season. And they got slaughtered by BYU????? BY Fucking U?!?!? Come on now Shedeur, you're talented, but you are not an NFL quarterback. And if the Giants do end up drafting him, the New York media is going to eat him alive to the point that he runs to daddy to get a trade out of there.
As for Cam Ward? I don't know enough about his game to make up my mind about him, but one thing I do know is that for the most part, SEC and ACC quarterbacks never end up doing that well in the NFL with the exception of a few - Cam Newton, Jalen Hurts, Baker, all I can really think of in recent memory, but you get the idea.
Oh and if you're thinking about Trevor Lawrence? Yeah lets do a blind QB test.
QB 1 (2021-2024): 13,815 yards, 69 TD, 46 INT, 85.0 QBR
QB 2 (2021-2024): 8,612 yards, 35 TD, 25 INT, 81.8 QBR
Besides the touchdowns and yardage, I would call these guys eerily similar. So who is who? QB 1 is Lawrence and QB 2 is Daniel Jones. Let's be real here, would I rather have Trevor Lawrence than Daniel Jones? Yes. But that's not really the point I'm trying to make. It's more so that the best ACC/SEC quarterback in recent years isn't nearly as good as people think Lawrence is.
Back to the draft talk.
I know beggars can't be choosers, especially as a lowly fan that sits on his couch or at a bar every Sunday. miserable as could be watching other teams play an entirely different sport than what the Giants have put on the field over the last decade, but please for the love of God, Mr. Schoen, do not draft any of these quarterbacks with the number three pick.
Sign a veteran, hope he gets us more wins this season than last, survive another season as GM and prepare for Arch Manning in 2026. Whether or not that means having 4 wins or 17 (absolutely incredibly unlikely), Giants fans need to prepare for the worst and pray for the best.
Before I wrap this up, I want to make one thing VERY clear. I am willing to eat my own words and would love to be proven wrong about Sanders or Ward or whatever mistake the Giants make at 3 (yes I am being skeptical entirely because of one scene on Hard Knocks), but don't be surprised when these guys take a big ole dookie all over the field on Sundays in the fall.
You heard it here first.
