My Summer Goal: Get Back into Golf

I love golf. I always have. I've been playing since like 3rd grade when I used to spring break with my grandparents (huge golfers, volunteered at The Masters for years before they stopped doing that, and only stopped golfing because of old age things), and they would buy me lessons every year.

I played when I was in high school, but that was before all the cute outfits, so I was always kind of embarrassed to be on the golf team especially when there were like 4 of us on the women's team. I quit after a couple years and golfed off and on throughout the rest of high school and college.

With that being said, this year, my summer goal is to get back into golf. I live in Florida, so I have no excuse to not golf year-round. I almost hit a hole in one a couple years ago because my ball bounced off the pin. If someone had pulled that pin, I would have been golden. This should have been my journey back into golf, but alas here we are. I began my journey back into golf yesterday (Easter Sunday which is one of the best days to golf imo), and to my shock I was not nearly as bad as I was expecting. I was not hitting very far, but I was hitting way straighter than I normally do which is already an improvement.
Here is my rose and thorn from my first round back:
Rose - I chipped in for birdie from 50 yards out
Thorn - Water hazards still get me very much in my head and I lost a couple balls to them

Follow along for my journey back to the links.
