Love'em, Hate'em, Rone & Keegs KNOW Content

It has now been a couple of days... I think being on Scotland time has my days all clustered up, but anyways, it's been what has felt like a couple of days since Rone stirred the pot in New York with his comments about the lack of content coming out of the East Coast office. This then started a chain reaction through Stoolie Nation felt on all accords, with Kelly Keegs drumming at the front line in favor of NYC. A battle which has seen action from all ranks...the President himself to Stoolie's Clubhouse leading the charge for the socials resistance (say resistance in a French accent... trust, it makes it so much better).

I'm not going to re-hash too much on the details. Really, what we need to hit is Rone & Keegs are masterminds at playing the villain to rile up these uprisings that occur during Barstool's... "quieter" months. We all know about the beef of Ohio's Tate vs. Keegs. It was a huge part of early Tate content days, and though most sided with Tate, Keegs played the villain proudly. Yet again, she smiles behind those protected tweets as the Twitter world blasts away with mention numbies going so nuclear Dave Portnoy himself put out an emergency press conference.

So look, I get it. 98.7% of the time you can hate on Keegs, and even disagree with her stance behind the New York office now... but you gotta give kudos when they are due. She puts up BIG numbers. She is the Ryan Fitzpatrick of Barstool, she jumps around from beef to beef, puts up a crazy memorable game here or there to stick around. This is also coming from a guy who admittedly does not watch a bit of her content.. sorry Kelly(though doubt this reaches her desk sadly). Still, I'm here to tip the cap & give the standing ovation to another classic heavyweight internet battle.

On the other hand, we have Rone, who is also taking a lot of heat in this whole situation. Here is the thing with Rone: when he sees a chance to make content, he is going to take it all the way. Whether it ruffles some feathers or has everyone singing kumbaya, Rone won't back down. Even today... Friday, btw. Going around the NYC office taking a look to see who has asses in seats. This is the kind of shit that can really be the shot in the arm he hopes to give.

So whether you are a big NYC content follower or not, whether you think this is a socials issue or you could give a rat's ass either way... yet again, we just have to look at the numbies, or even certain *cough cough* chats that have been ignited over the past few days. Rone & Keegs know the game of content, and you can hate their style or not, but the shit gets VIEWS!
