After 22 years, it looks like Father Time for LeBron is finally here.
The Lakers got out to a solid start to the season, but have struggled as of late with LeBron playing some of the worst basketball of his career. The Lakers suffered an ugly 29-point loss to the Timberwolves Monday night and James was held to 10 points (on 4-of-16 shooting) and committed six turnovers in 31 minutes of action.
His shooting has been horrific and he is currently 6 misses away from the most consecutive three point misses in NBA history. LeBron's last six-game stretch has been particularly rough. Since Nov. 23, he has averaged 16.8 points per game while shooting 39.8 percent from the field. His 3-point shot has evaded him as he's missed 27 of his last 30 3-point attempts, including a stretch of 19 straight misses over the last four games.
The final straw for me to realize it's time for Father Time was this tweet right here. Once this tweet hits the TL it's over...
