The day has arrived—the rematch, the championship, the NHL bragging rights...all on the table tonight. The U.S. is taking on Canada in the championship of the Four Nations Tournament, and this is exactly what the NHL envisioned when they created this event. You couldn’t have scripted it any better.
The U.S. has a chance to do something that hasn’t been done in years...win a championship at the professional level over Canada (juniors have won plenty). Of course, Canada hasn’t seen Lord Stanley in over 30 years, but in international play, they’ve still held the advantage over the States.
To add even more fuel to the fire, the game is being played in Boston...the place where many of our guys grew up or played college hockey. Some even consider it the hockey capital of America (though Minnesota boys might have something to say about that). If reading this or thinking about tonight’s game doesn’t get you fired up, check your pulse!
Now, I get it...some of you are new to the chat. You saw three fights on Saturday on social media, and now you’re hooked. So, here’s what you need to do before tonight...watch Miracle. That’ll get you in the mindset needed to help will the U.S. to victory.
If you can’t carve out time for that, these tweets should do the trick for ya!
Its go time tonight, who wants it more and who is willing to sieze the moment that is front of them. Lets go USA!
Bet Recap: A push, 2-2 that isn't bad but hoping for a big night soon!
