Bulls Trade Zach LaVine, Get Nothing in Return

How did we get here? Not even 24 hours after the insane Luka trade, the Bulls trade away the best player they've had since Derrick Rose and get nothing in return? The Chicago Bulls need to be a case study on how to go from the best franchise to an absolute joke after MJ left the team in 98.

I really don't understand how any superstars don't want to go to this team and bring them the first championship since the Jordan days. They would instantly become the king of that city and would be beloved forever. I mean I guess it's probably due to the Reinsdorf's completely screwing the team year after year and no one really wants to be a part of that, but come on.

We traded away three of the best players they've had in the last decade and got literally nothing in return.

It just seems like ever since Derrick Rose tore his ACL, that organization has been absolutely cursed. That and the fact that they couldn't get past LeBron in the ECF for three years during Rose's prime - probably the only legitimate shot the Bulls had to sniff a Finals for the foreseeable future.

Let's be real, were the Bulls going to do anything with LaVine anyway? Probably not but ya gotta at least get a conditional first rounder for him. I mean come on Jerry!

But seriously, the NBA has been on the downslope recently so it really makes you put on the tinfoil hat and do the Windhorst to ask yourself "What's going on in the NBA?"
