Best Dressed at the VMAs

I honestly was not blown away with the looks at the VMAs last night. I know the VMAs is a more casual award show, but that doesn't mean I wasn't expecting more out of the outfits. With that being said, it was honestly kind of hard to figure out my top ten, so let's just get into it.

10. Doja Cat

I usually hate Doja Cat's looks at any red-carpet event, but this one I really liked. She would've been higher on my list if she just took her pictures and moved on. However, she just had to go and eat her lipstick.

9. Paris Hilton

   

I'm a sucker for all-black or almost all black looks. This is definitely not my favorite look of the night, but I needed to include it because Paris Hilton does not age. Seriously she looks we just plucked her out of the early 2000s.

8. Brittany Snow

   

There is nothing too crazy about Brittany's outfit, but I loved all the metallic outfits I saw on the carpet last night and she did it really well. I love this look, because it seems timeless. I feel like we could see this dress on the carpet 20 years in the past and 20 years in the future and still like it just as much.

7. Connor Wood

I am definitely biased for this one, because I have been a Fibula fan for a hot minute. I also may have a tiny crush on him. However, I think it is hard for men to be unique on the red carpet without being weird and I think he has the perfect amount of unique in his look. I love the brown suit and the bolo tie.

6. Tate McRae

Tate McRae is stunning. I was unsure about her look at first, but it definitely grew on me. I like how flowy the dress is and when she moved around, she looked like a Greek Goddess. However, the look just seems like it's missing something.

5. Nikki Glaser

Now, don't hate me, but I think out of the two see through looks I have on my list, Nikki did it better. I liked the black fabric made it seem classier and for a red carpet. I think she looked hot af and deserves more recognition for it.

4. Tyla

If I'm being honest, I really don't know who Tyla is. That doesn't change the fact that I love her look last night. I think she looks so good! I'm loving the shirt/dress thing that she's wearing, and the jewelry ties it all together. slay queen.

3. Sabrina Carpenter

Obviously, Sabrina Carpenter is on this list. She looked so good last night. The main reason she is not higher on the list is because I liked her black dress she wore better.

That doesn't change the fact she slayed both outfits. Just a queen doing queen shit.

2. Livvy Dunne

Don't hate me for having Livvy higher than Tate and Sabrina, but she looked fucking awesome. I loved this look. There was a lot of super cropped tops/bras as shirts last night and I wasn't really liking it, but Livvy did it the best. I loved that she added the cropped jacket on top. She looks like an office siren in the best way. love it. no notes.

1. Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey is, of course, the best dressed of the night. Nobody could compare to this queen. I know I said earlier about Paris Hilton, but Mariah Carey truly has not aged one bit. There is just no way she is 56, the same age as my parents. Incredible. So Hot. I can only I hope that I look like that when I am her age.

• Mr. Beast's Fiancé

My first honorable mention is Mr. Beast's Fiancé who I now know to be Thea Booysen. I did not know Mr. Beast was dating someone, let alone engaged until I saw this picture of them. I was immediately like damn, good for Mr. Beast, because she looks hot af. I later learned that her name is Thea Booysen

• Lenny Kravitz

What can I say, it's Lenny Kravitz. He is just a hot man. The reason he isn't on the main list is because he can make anything look good. It just wouldn't be fair to the rest of the men.

• Yung Blud and Steven Tyler

I honestly have no explanation for this one. I just really liked the performance, and I have always loved Steven Tyler. These pictures of them are just fun too.
