Barstool Spring Break Power Rankings Vol. 2

We are only one night into Spring Break & already we may have the moment of the show on our hands. The cast got right to it, going zero to 100 without skipping a beat as they took on the nightlife of Vegas. But oddly enough, it wasn't Vegas that turned out to be the puppeteer to the madness; oh no, instead it was the mastermind from afar, Dave Portnoy.
Only a few hours into the new edition of Barstool's prime reality show, boss man Portnoy was not happy with the early showings of certain members, leading to, of course, voicing it on social media. A move that may have not only saved people from an early flight home, but also the show altogether. We know right now it is a tough ask to compete with the hate-mesmerizing show of Mintzy, but let's see what the new rankings are after the first night.

N/A: Brianna Chickenfry & Mintzy
Rico Bosco (Previous RNK: 8)
He came out of the gates hot with his Chevy Chase from Vacation-esque outfit, but afterwards, he just doesn't seem to fit in so far. It is still very early on, but he doesn't look to have the "devil may care" attitude like Doitche or Dante has. Hopefully, we can see a big comeback from Bosco. Maybe even a duo with Meek Phil in the making??!!
Maddie & Kelly (Prev RNK: 7)
I'm not sure if it was just that they were hard to follow for socials or they just weren't getting into anything too crazy, but they felt kind of like ghosts when watching most of the clips. For instance, right now all I'm thinking that was memorable was their Marshmello interaction. They have staying power, though, & being new cast members, they may have been more in a "feeling it out" type of attitude. I am looking for them to stick out moving forward in a content way.
Doitche (Prev RNK: 6)
Now, he didn't hide or shy away from the night or any hijinks; it just maybe does not feel like the right fit after one night. Things can change & his ability to consume is elite. While his little jokes are fun at times, he feels like a less-wild-with-the-antics Katic so far. Again, though, he is a new cast member as well, so let's see if the wild comes out.
Ella Grif (Prev RNK: 2)
Okay, we are in the top 6 now, so no one here has been bad. For Grif, she still has shown her wild side in Vegas, but others put on a better show in night one. For Ella, we may need to see her get caught up in some drama or something of that nature to see another side to her. She is 100% herself though in this thing & doesn't care what people think, that is really damn cool of her.
Katic (Prev RNK: 3)
The Krawlers might hate me for this "low" ranking, but again, it feels like the reasoning is very similar to what you just read about Ella. He isn't doing anything wrong, it's just he has gotten upstaged a bit. I think we would all like to see him mix it up a little more, but his authentic comedic ability is truly elite.
Bonus ranking!!!
Mikey Bets, Danny Conrad, Payton, & the rest of the social team deserve a major shout. I will have a little more on Conrad in a moment, but overall, for them to be in the foxhole right next to these guys all night is incredible work!
Dani Jackel (Prev RNK: 5)
She has the sly "stir the pot" mojo & it was working day 1. Some are going to disagree with this high ranking, but she has that reality TV or social media brain & it showed from the jump. It is a shame she isn't here for the whole trip because she has drama with others written all over her as the week progresses.
Nicky Smokes (Prev RNK: 1)
Not even hours, folks... it was minutes before he rekindled the "will they/won't they" toxic Ross & Rachel relationship with Annika. Also, just the video of him dunking the basketball in the hotel is, for some reason, gold. Look, you can love or hate it, he makes this show go; even though the biggest clip of the night didn't have him there, it still had his fingerprints all over it. Smokes is clicks, people, like it or not.
Dante... & Conrad (Prev. RNK: 4)
Sorry, I know Danny isn't truly a cast member after a great first season, which saddens all the Comrades without a doubt. BUT! Dante with him as his social guy is gold. The way he helps create situations for Dante, or is just there to catch Dante in the moment, is great. Yet again, Dante shows that him just being him is content. Also, what should go into the rankings is his strength to outdo all these kiddos a decade younger than him, as he is also the last one out (or one of).
Annika (Prev. RNK: 10)
I mean, was it going to be anyone else here? AN ALL-TIME BARSTOOL MOMENT. Yes it is; this does not cheapen any of the others that exist—her crash-out just joins the rafters of crash-outs in Barstool lore. Orchestrated by Portnoy, of course, still she played right into it & now has solidified herself in the top spot for now. Moving forward, you have to wonder if she has more up her sleeve, though.
We are only one night in & as I am writing this up, we're less than an hour from Rone's recap, in which you know he is about to really stir all kinds of shit up going into night 2. With it only being a week long compared to Beach House's almost a month, be prepared for him to really turn on his questioning to see what sticks on the cast. We will see if someone from low in the rankings makes a charge tonight.
