Barstool Beach House: Off with a BANG!

Wow!!! Let’s everyone take a quick step back and breathe...

We’ve made it through just one night of Barstool Beach House, and already it feels like there are enough storylines to make a trilogy out of this thing. The Barstool crew did not hold back on night one, nope there was no easing into the drama, as the big guns flexed their content muscles, giving us endless "where were you" moments from the jump.

Also, before we go any deeper into the what, who, why, and how of the evening, huge shoutout to the entire social team for not only capturing these candid moments but getting them out to the people as quickly as possible. These peeps are killing it.

Alright, so we had a lot of positives on night one. The feel-good story in the pre-show did not disappoint night one. The chemistry between Danny Conrad & Jackie cannot be ignored. It was the talk of positivity across the whole Spaces held by Barstool Breakdown. Didn’t matter who among the 250+ came up to speak everyone was rooting for these two to work out!

Conrad continues his ascension in content over the past few months, being a natural at any angle he plays, whether joking around with Jackie or stepping in for the missing cattle rancher Dante as the babysitter for the drama of the night…

Did I say drama?

Yes, I did. Of course, that's still the talk, the views, the interest at heart. Nicky Smokes, to no one’s surprise, is right in the middle of drama event #1 in the Beach House. Seriously, that bet had to have been -1000. Too easy. But before we burn him at the stake or anything, let’s dive in.

The centerfold of the night was Smokes, Intern Oona, & Brianna Chickenfry. Smokes, through multiple clips, looked to be chatting with or around Oona for a good amount of time (don’t want to say anything exact, we don’t know with the clipping). It was at this point Brianna felt she sensed Oona was uncomfortable. This is where the fireworks began…

Brianna then calls out Nicky, which leads to him confronting Oona, which leads to text chains… I mean, we all know the drill, right? We’ve gone out to parties. We know how these things go....but now Smokes feels his honor has been dragged by these comments, which is fair, as Brianna continued to “gaslight” the situation, to say the least.

Now, is she to blame? That’s hard to say… She may be seeing it as more of a situation than it is. Sober minds in the morning could truly bring justice to all sides. Smokes meanwhile is just trying to make sure he doesn't come off as a creep, which he also seemed as genuinely concerned as Brianna was from her point of view. Then you have Oona, being an intern, is in a tough spot between the two. Brianna does seem to be trying to help, though aggressive with her sentiments toward Smokes. But Oona is stuck in that spot...and as she said earlier this week on Mook Can’t Sleep, I’m fighting for a job here!

Though good or bad, the situation produced clips & content! This now sets up potentially more issues moving forward, as the last thing said was both Oona and Smokes need to just stay away from each other.

Sure, that’s totally going to happen with 3+ weekends still ahead. No way they’ll cross paths again…

Also, another positive, because we need it...Katic’s chicken tender arrival and then his fart… GOLD. If you don’t think those were two MASSIVE Ws for Katic & the house… you don’t know content. Every serious night needs a Katic. You need the guy who is just oblivious to it all… Maybe it’s him every night, or maybe it becomes a shared role.

The biggest thing to remember through it all… it’s only Thursday night. Two more nights are ahead before they get back to their home bases for a reset. So… will this boil over? Or does daylight give a fresh start for all?
