The Barstool Beach House has reached its end for 2025. With an origin story born from office relationships, so of course it ends with multiple, including a potential revival of the original couple, Nicky Smokes & Annika. But you see, this show gave us so much more. It built new Barstool stars, while reaching the stoolie claw further than we’ve seen before, and maybe even invented a new form of reality TV.
We saw armies built, the biggest being Katic’s Krawlers. Then you have Dante’s Disciples (or Inferno, seen both), and for me, the one I hold highest, since it was born right here in this blog...Conrad’s Comrades.
Though it wasn’t all fun, games, and partying, nope, we know what the internet truly loved about this show…the drama & love stories. If you just jumped in the last week, you might have thought the drama wasn’t at the beach, but oh no no no, the true Beach House followers will always remember the R-word incidents, Oona vs. Dante, JANNY vs. Smokes, Bri special treatment, and lets not forget the dang THE RIB RACK!
This show gave us so many moments, and I’ll do my best to find some of theeach stars clips, though it’s nearly impossible to hammer it down to only a few. What I can do is give a highs and lows for each of the Barstool personalities from their time on the shore. Everyone had their bests & worsts, even maybe the ultra-loved Katic Krawler & Conrad Comrade.
So let's do this...
Oona – A late add to the cast, and only an intern, you now have to wonder if she earned herself a full-time gig at Barstool.
High: Probably goes all the way back to night one, when she was in the mix with Nicky Smokes, leading to one of, if not the, most viral clip of the show…Smokes crying after being called the R-word by Brianna Chickenfry. Clear-cut biggest high of the show for her.
Low: I’m not going to rip these guys too much with the lows (they’re already fed up with us commenters). For her, though, I think the lows stacked up, not really her fault. She seems like a nice person, but it’s a lot to ask for an intern to come onto a show with constant cameras and some already really big personalities. This just may not have been her thing, and that’s okay.
Brianna Chickenfry – When you think about her following, it’s pretty crazy she decided to do this. Her time on here was well interesting, to say the least.
High: Now, the masses want me to say the R-word moment with Smokes, but the true Shore lovers know her best moments all came with Katic. The bar fun & late-night kisses... their dynamic was one of the most surprising parts of the show. With Katic, she seemed her most relaxed, her most natural shine.
Low: Bringing in outsiders. When this happened(multiple times btw), she seemed to float away. At big moments, a lot of the internet was asking, “Where is Bri?” She’s a powerful figure, and her not being in the mix at times was a real bummer.
Jackie – Who would’ve thought she’d become part of America’s favorite love story? Always a KFC Radio favorite, yes, but we didn’t see this true love coming.
High: JANNY! Her connection with Danny Conrad started as what all thought was another classic Conrad Comrade bit but quickly turned into something real. The world fell in love with JANNY as they became authentic, something so real The Bachelor wishes they could compete with. Maybe one of the best moments was her proud reaction to Conrad’s public ummm…relief ticket.
Low: Some cynics might complain she didn’t get wild enough once they became official... to that I say BOOOO. No, her low was the Smokes near-destruction of JANNY. Yes, it was mainly on Nicky, but JANNY almost fell apart before it could blossom.
Tommy – Crazy that such a big-time actor jumped on this reality show. Tune into Les Mascot's TUESDAY NIGHTS!
High: BLONDES! Tommy Smokes proved to the world that girls dig the awkward, funny, goofy play. Tommy two, three, even four blondes was a nightly thing. His awkwardness about it the next day made it even better. He’s a natural for that slight cringe comedy the internet always loves.
Low: Has to be his handling of TELLA (Ella). The back-and-forth just dragged his vibe down. Understandable hesitation with a co-worker, sure, but letting it stew for almost two weeks wasn’t fair to Ella, who was trying to put herself out there.
Annika – Her rant during BFW’s funeral is the Shore’s origin story, and ironically she may have been the most low-key once there.
High: Her control of all situations. For someone essentially on a fully comped vacation, she stayed fully on her terms, including maybe another run with Nicky Smokes??? The show gave America a glimpse of why they can’t quit each other, their connection is real. Also her telling off this troll was pretty dope!
Low: While self-control is admirable, she did kinda get lost in the mix early on, which sucked since she was part of the show’s origin. A full-blown flip-out on Smokes would’ve been electric. We can easily forget that slow start though.
Ella – The true party girl of the group. Many felt unsure about her "motion", but now she looks primed to be a staple of the next generation of barstool.
High: So so so many. Her willingness to let loose was perfect for reality TV, random dance moves, and loss vapes leading to accidental beat drops, pure wildcard energy. She meshed with Katic, Bri, Dante, and…well, almost Tommy. She was a natural for this show.
Low: TELLA. Same as Tommy. Wrong guy, wrong energy in the end. The elite corners of the internet of course were rooting for a Katic Krawler & Ella couple, and their connection seemed legit. A huge swing and a miss for us fans sadly.
Dante – UNC! Reportedly thought this was some sort of game show, but damn, he needs to be back if there’s a sequel. This man SKYROCKETED up the big boards!
High: UHHHH everything! Every clip, moment, word... gold. Whether trying to use the R-word to get clips pulled, calling out the “kids,” or his DJ set, Dante delivered. His conspiracy theories are so freaking good, as a history teacher I can't help but be captivated by his knowledge of events. Bonus: new duo alert: Danny & Dante.
Low: Maybe bailing on Meek Phil and the show one night. But even that turned into more content later with the scream mask story. Dante just doesn’t miss. Hard to finds any lows
Danny Conrad – The other late add, and the one who could mix it up. He did not disappoint. He may be headed towards full time content!
High: Yes, JANNY. Huge moment. But the real ones know about his edits & videos of coworkers being so incredible, it's what birthed Conrad’s Comrades. His ticket, his Dante interactions, and of course, JANNY all gave him some of the best overall moments on the shore. And with Jackie, nothing but true Midwestern gentleman.
Low: What, you think I’m putting a low? Come on, I’m a Comrade!
Katic – Almost canceled by the internet before the show even started, but the world finally saw what I saw from day one. A STAR.
High: EVERYTHING. Tarps off, singing on stage, late-night eats. The biggest? Not being intimidated one bit. Willing to mix it up with Bri, one of Barstool’s biggest stars. He is a complete natural on camera in any situation! I will forever remember night one: tendies in hand, past a crying Smokes, followed by a thunderous fart.
Low: Bruhhh. Ima Krawler... we don’t do lows.
Nicky Smokes – The other half of the origin story, and he did not disappoint one bit. Made for reality TV, this man earned his stripes this month
High: Sex, drugs, drama...the Smokes trifecta. There wasn’t a dull moment. Even when coupled up, he found ways to stir it with concussions and cig prescriptions. Love him or hate him, he drove clicks with his antics, countless apologies, and earned another year at Barstool.
Low: Personally, it’s gotta be getting called the R-word. But for the audience, it was almost ruining America’s favorite love story, JANNY. One night he had the internet on his side; the next, they had pitchforks & torches outside the Beach House. That’s the Smokes way...highest highs, lowest lows.
Overall the beach house was another masterclass by El Presidente Dave Portnoy: throwing Barstool’s newest and wildest into a new style of reality TV. The question now, is there going to be an encore, or was this a one-hit wonder? If there’s one major critique: maybe cut it shorter or give them a weekend off. By the end, they were running on fumes, and who could blame them? Insane stretch of late nights and constantly being on camera has to be exhausting.
Either way, this was objectively (right, Dana?) a complete hit with millions... even billions, of internet impressions. Yet again, Barstool wins at somebody else's game! IF you have your own highs & lows or favorite clips brought them in the thread for for all the great memories of beach house in one place!
