Barstool After Dark: World Cup of Joes

AFTER DARK IS BACK! And it is time to get the cleats on for the World Cup, Barstool style. Our favorite is also back on as the Pros vs. Joes hits the soccer fields. An all-star squad from the Major Arena Soccer League will be coming to town in an all-time face-off. Ohio's Tate is putting together his best roster to finally end the streak of Joe L's in the sport that he knows best... right?

Okay, so maybe I fibbed a little on Tate's knowledge of soccer, as I am pretty much in that same boat, it's one of the sports I understand little of. Still, this is where After Dark is so genius, as they can take sports like volleyball, handball, and now soccer, and make everyone a fan for a night. We also get a start of the century to the stream with Mintzy in goal on penalty kicks... ohh, the sounds that will be breaking through. Love or hate Ben, this should be a banger out the gate.

After the start, we then go into the Pros vs. Joes rules in games of first to 3. Unless it's a tie at 2-2, we then roll back to the penalty kicks for the winner... soo yes, it would be back on Mintz possibly. Can you say freaking cinema!!!! We will then go to 6v6 until, if needed, 18v6 before the all-stars (pros) start losing players.

Now, what about the Joes? Well, this team could be sneaky stacked with some athletes, including KB and Doitche, who have shown to be very good and still, of course, in shape to keep up. After that, you have some soccer keeps in Zah and Nicky Smokes as well. You gotta wonder, if the Joes can be accurate, they could find themselves in the hunt earlier than expected. Though for context the Over/Under early on is set at 18v4.

Soccer might not be your cup of joe (yes, I had to do it), but After Dark is the great equalizer as they find a way to make it must-see! After handball that included broken ceilings, Kody getting tossed, and Chef Donny's basically "if you ain't cheating, you ain't trying" mentality, we are set up for some awesome hijinx this week!
