Barstool After Dark: Aim, Swing, & Perfection

Buckle up for this one. Not only will us Stoolies get a stream featuring both Mintzy & Cheah, but they’ll be striving for perfection once again, putting their athletic abilities to the test. Joining them will, of course, be host Ohio’s Tate & Hank as they swing for their shot at the perfect shot.

Barstool After Dark will put golf vs. tennis to the test, trying to get a ball into a hole just barely bigger.

For those a bit confused, yes, four men who do not play these sports professionally will attempt to achieve the perfect swing and perfect hit. Now really… how hard can this be, right? I’m sure guys like Rory McIlroy, Jannik Sinner, or Ludvig Åberg do this all the time and they aren’t like world-class professionals or anything… RIGHT??? I mean even Tom Brady recently showed his attempts at perfection even, I forget with Pats fans drooling over Drake Maye now, was he any good?

Now, early reports suggest this could be one of those streams that either ends in minutes on a lucky shot or lasts hours as frustration and physical exhaustion settle in. Does Titus play golf or tennis? How fast could Scottie Scheffler get to town? Could Tate bribe him with a guest spot on Advisors?? These are all the questions that need answers. Though Scottie coming to save the stream on Wednesday & then being the weather girl on advisors would hit like the first Mariah Carey All I Want for Christmas on the radio station post Halloween.

And what about tennis? Could that actually be the easier one? The ball does have a little more give. As Tate said, they just need to hit one. Mintzy will bring the energy as the new potential co-host of After Dark. Also he is a numbers guy, the perfect shot is all about math! And we all know how Cheah always finds a way to win. He could be the reason we get the world’s fastest After Dark stream. That would be so Cheah of him. I don’t doubt he will have data ready to get the crew out quick Tuesday night. The Cheah Hive will be STRONG in the chat, that’s a guarantee.

All joking aside, this will be no easy task, golf or tennis. I mentioned Åberg earlier, as he hit a hole-in-one this weekend. A feat that garners insane praise. Oh, and yeah, it didn’t go straight in, and he’s only a top-15 golfer on the planet. No big deal! So this should be easy enough?

Ahh yes, we know Hank plays his golf, but he couldn’t make the Big Internet Invite. Maybe this is his redemption arc. His moment to jumpstart the golf content. THE CHAT!! As always the chat needs to remember: golf & tennis are hard. So let’s be fair with the comments… and as always, keep them accountable so no one changes rules mid-stream... but who am I kidding, Titus will handle that part.
