For the After Dark Army, a long wait begins this week until 2026, when Ohio’s Tate & his crew return on Tuesday nights for another season of hijinks, punishments, & challenges with all of our favorite characters in the Barstool universe. With 2025 coming to a close & the itch for After Dark in overdrive, this makes for the perfect time to re-visit the Top 5 B.A.D.(Barstool After Dark) of 2025 according to Coach Day, plus a little holiday treat from the host himself, Tate. Let’s not waste your time & get right into it.
With After Dark being a weekly show, the re-watch list from 2025 is aplenty for everyone to choose from. To help everyone out though, I’ve created the Top 5 must-sees!

The number one, far & away, has to be the EA College Football stream with its highs & lows, close calls, & office involvement, you get it all. This was like Twitch on steroids for video game lovers. From the Miracle in Morgantown to Lucas’ hours of recruiting to San Jose State, just for Tate to leave the next offseason. All the different approaches to get a national championship clashed for about three days as the crew fought lack of sleep, hunger, & video game exhaustion.
Next up was Nick & KB joining in on the B.A.D. fun. One of Tate’s first as the new host of After Dark, they took on The Biggest Losers challenge, attempting to make weight by losing a combined 30lbs before they could be set free from the clutches of Lucas. Of all the punishments & challenges Tate has gone through this year, he says this was one of the worst, easily, on his body. The agony on the crew, and then you throw in Nick & KB? A perfect mashup for your holiday late nights to revisit.
Coming in 3rd, we have a complete flip as Tate brought in the big boys to attempt the Doug Doug Fast Food Challenge. This one was among the more popular streams in views this year & is already being teased to return in 2026. Big Cat delivers an all-time moment you can’t miss. A viral challenge being taken on by Barstool is always worth a watch. Now is the perfect time to get inspired & get the gang together to give it a go yourself!
(Thank you Joe Sauce, give him a follow trust me)
It wouldn’t be a Barstool list without multiple food challenges, right? So in comes the 99-99-9 challenge from the Wrigley rooftops with Mr. C… Joey Chestnut & the fear of Doitche potentially holding a firearm. Also, look out for a vibing T-Bob, as he was in the middle of a generational After Dark guest run during the summer.
To close out the five, we have the one & only Stu Feiner. His first B.A.D. appearance will not let you down. In fact, this is the perfect way to hard-launch to your friends & family your love for the man, the myth, the legend of Stu. The chess game… I defy anyone not to laugh their ass off.
As the exclusive reporter for Barstool After Dark, my list may be the best you’ll find on the internet, well, except for maybe one other person… Ohio’s Tate. Good thing for you, I happened to get his five favorite shows as well, as it is the season of giving and all.

In maybe the least surprising reveal of all time, Tate ranks his #1 favorite as Roles Reversed. This was a classic, as most of the office...including Tate, got to give their payback to Lucas, the puppeteer of After Dark himself. Endless memorable moments.
His 2nd favorite, I will stand by my theory, is the main reason we have Dana Beers in Chicago full-time now. The two combined drinking & basketball, which are always things that work best together… right? Dana in any situation needs at least two watches anyway.
Funny enough, Tate had the same one in his 3rd spot with the Doug Doug challenge, so if that doesn’t convince you to re-watch it, then what the heck do you need?!?!
To round out his five, the last two are so iconic. First, we have the blind maze with Mintzy, which... to not be cliché, but... had twists & turns you never thought you’d see, including map work by Mintz you couldn’t believe. It jump-started us all into the holiday season, so it’s fitting to watch it as the holiday stretch of 2025 ends.
Lastly, again with no surprise to anyone in the After Dark Army, is Chip & Putt Part 2 with Barstool Beef (R.I.P.). This was one of the rules-gate streams of the year, in which The Yak, led by fairness commish Big Cat, called Tate & Beef back into action to re-do the challenge. This ended up being a blessing in disguise, as it now gives us all great content to watch back of Beef, seeing how much he enjoyed being with the guys & doing his thing.
It wouldn’t truly be an After Dark week without a chat element. Now that you know mine & Tate’s top shows of the year, make sure to comment your own favorite & why below to keep the chat alive into the new year & season. Also, while you’re at it, find a way to complain to Lucas, Mintz, or Tate to keep them feeling the love from the fans!
Also don't forget to watch the B.A.D. Christmas Special that puts network television specials to shame!
Of course, B.A.D. followers know watching all ten of these may be a tough task with timing. But the nice thing is there are highlight packages of the best moments from each Tuesday night, so even if time is tight around the holidays, you can still find Barstool After Dark’s Best of the Best 2025, getting all of us ready for an exciting new season in 2026.
Thank you for reading & watching B.A.D. all 2025...Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the return of After Dark in January!
